Yet another reason why artificial intelligence needs to decide cases. A computer would not get emotionally entangled like humans. A torso is all that it would need. Next evidence! In the Cauvin case they asked the young black girls how they "felt" about what they witnessed. How the F does that matter and why bridle the jury with those emotions. We have so many antiquated processes.

Exactly and the defense seems to think he played with the heart strings of the jurors but as far as I'm concerned the proscicution has a duty to draw a clear and precise picture of what the facts are and sometimes the jurors may feel sad or disgusted or angry and have those emotions but in the end they make a decision based on the evidence not how they FEEL. So the defense final statements were not great and were quite loaded and quite frankly unprofessional and bordering on rude.

And even after all the torment, grieving, betrayal, etc. that Chandler has inflicted on the remaining members of his, and Cat's family, I'd still be willing to bet that if Bart and Krista were able to speak on their sons behalf, they'd still want mercy for their son. It seemed like (from EVERY person who described them) that they were truly "salt of the earth" people. Genuinely good. And they were quite literally ripped from this world just as they'd begun to enjoy their later years, or look forward to retirement, and spend time just relaxing, and watching their children begin their own lives. Unfortunately, they had no idea as to what monster lurked within their own son. The things he did to them both in murdering, and post mortem are simply unspeakable. They wouldn't have cared if he admitted that he didn't have the eduvation, job, future etc. that he lied about. I'd bet they'd have stuck by him, and worked it out. But his ego, and warped personality wouldn't let it go. My heart breaks for Mitch, Barts brother, Cat, her Mom & Cress, and the best friends of Krista and Bart that all have to suffer this senseless loss.

Never have I ever heard such an abominal case. I think the most nagging part is the fact that his parents were loving and caring. Yes the gruesome facts are very very disturbing; but he did this to very caring loving parents, who sounded to be wonderful people. Few trials have left me so unsettled as this. Well done to the Prosecution and jurors. May Bart and Krista finally rest in peace.

No one should ever have to endure what happened. Now, Chandler will have a life long time to get his degree, have free food and place to sleep as well as no bills or major decisions we have to make in an average life time. For Mitchell, so sorry you no longer have your mom and dad. You have everything now and nothing in the end that really matters. You no longer have your brother due to decisions he made. I pray you take the family home and dedicate it to an organization to keep others safe and spend time at the camp remembering good memories. Just lead your life Mitchell with you head high. For Cat, this will be a hard memory to deal with in your future. Consider your life fortunate and you are alive.
