Chandler's fake disability was him manipulating his gf's family to take care of him. He's basically saying he has brain/nerve damage and can't work and probably will be his excuse for dropping out of school. This family was about to adopt a grown man who's own parents were tired of supporting him. What a gross human being.

I find that the craziest part! How he was trying to manipulate his gf mother to take him in and care for him... his gf didn't even live at home yet he was trying to move in with the mother.. Jesus this could've turned out more of a body count if he hadn't been caught he would've kill the gf her mother forsure

Completely agree. It's truly disturbing how he truly thought he would be able to live his whole life manipulating and basically extorting others. I see a trend in white young men to be honest. Not all but a good enough portion to be concerned.. they do not want to work hard for anything. Ofc this is prevalent among young women too but we typically aren't committing violent crimes and mass shootings... They are isolated and chronically online which exposes them to violence and certain sites where violent, questionable people gather to discuss disturbing things. I really see young men being affected by the internet in horrible ways when I look around. I think it's affected all of us negatively but I just see so much anger and entitlement emanating from young men.. he could not even take responsibility for a lie. Very poetic wake up call that he must stand on trial and watch someone untangle every single lie this guy told. I really hope men start to take care of their mental health. Us women do actually care about their mental health bc it directly affects us. I see so many young men bullying, harassing, threatening other young men and will simultaneously go cry about how no one values their feelings. It has to start with them. I really hope they get it together bc us women are actually rooting for them. I think so many men get lost in these violent and hateful internet forums. Something has to change.

Man...that kid really had everything. Parents, a girlfriend, and even her family who all loved him dearly. All he had to do was be honest. Nah, he had everything. All he had to do was go up to tax dad, be honest about school, and ask for help. Instead he choose to lie until it got so big he had to off his parents to keep the lie going. Tax dad was a literal auto win button. Dad's friends all have good jobs/careers. Gf has him in phone as hubby. Brother is successful and could get him a job. Dude had way to many resources for it to end up like this. All because he chose to lie...... As someone who started life with nothing, nah, worse than than nothing, I had straight up disadvantages at the start. Drugged out single mom, homelessness, eating out of trash cans, I had to raise an adult as a child, Had to choose work over school, I'm just starting my education in my mid to late 30's. As a 5 foot 4 guy, dating is non-existent, no girl wants to bend over to kiss her man... I just cant fathom how this guy refused to see all the amazing resources around him.

What lies are left for her to have known about if she knew all about his lies??? He lied about his injury to her too. He lied to her mom and Cress. If anyone had found those body parts on the farm later they would have been blamed .. he even left the receipt from Target with Cat's name on it in the bag with all of the bloody rags. I want to know why people lie and act like they know something that we don't about the case.. do they want people to think they know more than anyone or do they just get off on it!?

I'm at the beginning where Dolce is giving her testimony and it's obvious how hard she was trying to be accurate. However, she doesn't give a very clear testimony. She doesn't always answer the questions that are asked, isn't very clear with many of her answers, and doesn't explain things very well. Communication is not her forte. @@ghosty6618 so true. This was especially evident when she was trying to explain the way that the Psycho splashed water on himself, presumably to cool himself or perhaps even to wash off blood that he noticed after he was already in the pool. I still don’t understand why Chandler went ahead and got into the pool when he saw Ches was topless. Was it because his entire reason for being there was so that he could go swimming? That’s all I can think of. Still, when the woman who owns the property makes it obvious that she wants to be alone, he could have taken the hint and said he would come back and swim another time. Chandler caused everything from minor inconvenience to murder during that week. Why couldn’t he just face up to his lies? His parents would have been mad, disappointed, confused, whatever but they would have dealt with it. Their track record shows that. I think GI Andrew had a bigger role than just his generous gift of an expensive weapon.

I am heartbroken for Cat. You can *feel* her pain as she’s testifying. She had her entire world ripped apart by Chandler. He was the love of her life and not only was he torn away from her, but in one swift motion she lost her partner and found out he wasn’t the person he told her he was, his entire life was a lie, and he was a *murderer.* Not only that but she lost his family who she loved as well. I kept starting to cry when she did. She is so sweet and you can tell how much she loved Chandler *and* his parents. She did not deserve to be part of any of this. I am heartbroken for her. And Dolce and Cres. I’m a lesbian too and if I was *forced* to *publicly come out* like they were I would be *terrified.* People are insane and I don’t know that Wisconsin is particularly LGBT friendly. And poor Dolce felt so violated that Chandler still got in the pool while Cres wasn’t wearing a top even though she was visibly uncomfortable and clearly did not want him to get in. And you can tell how heartbroken Dolce is for her daughter. She’s so protective of the people she loves. She’s an incredible Mom and partner. Cat and Cres are so lucky to have her. None of them deserve to be part of this mess. If any of them see this- I’m so sorry you went/are going through this. It’s not fair and I’m just so sorry. Im heartbroken for all of you and I wish I could give you all the biggest hug. I cried during all of your testimonies. You’re all such incredible, strong women and I’m so proud of you for getting on the stand and doing such an amazing job. You all killed it and I can’t even imagine how hard it must have been. I’m sending you all so much love- Cat, Dolce, and Cres 🤍 I hope you find peace and that your life is filled with happiness and joy and love for each other and everything you love. And I hope you feel that your farm is a safe, beautiful, sanctuary. I really hope you know who didn’t ruin it for you. I hope you’re at a place where you don’t even have to think about him. Sending you all so much love 🤍🤍🤍

Cat, I can't imagine the betrayal you feel having to go back through these events word for word and knowing what these texts really were for... knowing the person you loved lied about absolutely every single thing he ever said and had no qualms involving you by disposing of his parents on your families property, inviting you to sleep over every night for days on end at the ongoing crime scene. I hope you get proper counselling because not only is the act he did abhorrent, but his willing and deliberate involvement of you and your family is so psychologically damaging and unfathomable, you can go insane trying to make sense of it.

It's esp disgusting - he had to know they may have found the remains ... he left his dad's torso there, knowing his girlfriend or her mother could come across it. nd then to get into the pool to wash off - i cant imagine how tainted his girlfriend and her mother must feel about just that bit right there.

My goodness, the change in Cat’s energy is sooo different to her energy in the police interviews. She was so free spirited and optimistic and lively in her interviews before she found everything out…Now, her eyes seem like there so little energy or life left in them. The spark in her her eyes and energy is completely gone. Perhaps not the closest analogy, but reminds me of how my eyes and energy were before I got into an abusive relationship for almost 2 years…and by the time I escaped that relationship, my eyes had no life left in them (even when smiling) and the spark in my energy was completely gone. Trauma and reality (if bad enough) does such horrible things to your physical energy & physical presentation. The eyes alone can usually tell a thousand words.

My theory: he spun a web of lies that he couldn’t get out of. He simultaneously wanted to have everything handed to him by his parents yet didn’t want to live by the rules of their house (get a job, go to school, etc.). All that mixed with a personality disorder led to the murders. Such a sad story. You can tell by the witnesses and texts the mom sent she really loved her kids.

I think he knew all his lies were gonna be exposed since the day he allegedly killed his parents was when he was supposed to have a meeting at his “school”… what I’m thinking is he got into with his dad and waited for his dad to turn his back he got the SKS and shot and killed him.. and then to cover up his dads murder he was going to get rid of the collateral damage aka his mom..
