@@davidew345 he doesn't need new equipment, just proper routing for his mic signal. Should take him about 3 min to setup, and our viewer's experience would be improved greatly.

While Jund is not my favorite 3 color combo(I'm a dirty Grixis, Esper, and occassionally mardu player) , watching Reid play Jund is so fun to watch. It is like getting a master class in sequencing and thinking out your play options. Plus Reid is just a really chill dude so it's also calming to watch.

I feel like the deck works really hard to get lands in a deck with only 2mv spells

...AND 0 card draw, so by T5 you got the mana and nothing to cast. With the low curve and the inclusion of Wight and Wrenn, 24 lands is too much. Could cut to 20-22. Maybe get a few modals to even out (Stump Stomp, Bloodsoaked Insight, Revitalizing Repast, etc). I mean, he flooded a few times and it cost him.

Always happy to watch Reid play JUND! I'm curious to see how Amp raptor works out, Really want a new BBE, though 1 toughness is still a tough place to be. I'm also curious to see how Wright plays out, IMO this list doesn't have the fodder to fuel it. I wonder if Darcy would work well. Dig for and fuel Nethergoyf.

29:21 Take Fatal Push, let Grist get plussed. If they play the second grist, let it resolve. In response to the minus ability, Tar Fire the Wolf and sacrifice the Spellbomb in response to the Undying trigger - should have a black mana available to draw a card. Both boards are clear.

You missed that they would plus the first Grist before playing the second. So this line also costs us a Lightning Bolt and we don't get to cantrip. That said, I think that even after all of that it's still the best play.

I recently downloaded Magic Arena for drafting (after quite a while off) and when I saw that Liliana is legal in standard I had to give it a shot and built Jund there. do you think galvanic discharge might be worth it? you can bank energy when killing lower toughness creatures and it gives you something to do with the extra energy when raptor hits a 0 or 1 drop

So 1:48:26 you had the edict. Before the soultrader resolved or honestly after it couldve been played to make your opponent sac one of the combo pieces. It says sac non token creature on it.

Ciao Reid, Nethergoyf would have won g2 vs Eldrazi Tron. At 1:21:50 if you blocked with orchish bowmasters instead of the goyf you would have had letal the following turn thanks to lightning bolt!

I think galvanic discharge would be a good addition to the deck to make the raptor a little stronger by making 3 and 4 drops attainable on the regular. Also just a good removal spell.

@elmksan The idea is to now be able to add 3 drops like fable to the deck with the additional energy added and removal. Can also tag things without the focus on delirium for unholy heat.

i would be interested to know why no assassins trophy? it can be hit by amped raptor still and you can hit the majority problematic permanents like gris in game one but still have flexibility to hit lands like ugins labyrinth and urzas saga. Is the downside of ramping your opponent in modern as bad as their most powerful card or synergy, even if its just a sideboard option for certain matchups ?

I've seen it still used in sb's primarily for Tron lands and Coffers. It's just that there are so many options now it's tough to fit them all in. Pick your Poison is better for most applications

Not a fan of raptor in jund (its great in Ajani decks). Think just 8 goyfs is the way to go.

if you play the whole package raptor is great (amulett/raptor/blast) especially in jund because the only downside of raptor are reactive cards which can be minimized with jund colors
