You actually need a doctor to treat you from mind related problems. Chaplin and Keaton comedy are good. But if it makes you shed tears and then your ribs ache, clearly it is not because of comedy. . It simply means you are still a child and not have yet grown up to the age mentally where other people grow and behave. . Sad that the parents of such children hand over their mobile. 🤦🤦🤦
@hatandbeardmedia59252 жыл бұрын
It's fascinating to see how these two masters play with a very simple premise. Chaplin's performance is like a dance, with each dancer timing their moves with precision. Keaton on the other hand is pure physicality and bottled chaos, but equally as precise. Keaton's ability to take any moment of the routine and go in completely the opposite direction of what would be expected is certainly more noticeable than Chaplin's, but Chaplin played with the audience's expectations by subverting moments but inevitably leading to the outcome one is expecting. Neither one is better or worse than the other; both are masterful in their planning and execution.
@petercontijr.48462 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. They are true artists that perform on different levels within their genre. Each had his own unique style and are entertaining in their niche. I enjoy what they both bring to the table. Neither one could do what the other did. It's like comparing in dancing Gene Kelly to Fred Astaire, or the Nicholas Brothers. Enjoy them all, and be glad that there was such a wealth of comedic talent. The editing is extraordinary BTW.

City Lights is still one of the funniest movies ever made, the interaction between Chaplin and the rich drunk guy gets me every time. Buster Keaton has to be one of the most impressive people in the history of cinema, the creativity of the man when he was in charge of his own output was insane.

Both are super comedians on earth ever. May their souls Rip.

Two absolute geniuses. The young BK and the young CC. Cool. You used the theme of Zorba the Greek with Anthony Quinn(!!). Excellent choice. Excellent video collage. Superb piece of video. I am still laughing. 61 years old. Brazil 🇧🇷

I really wonder why Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd were not that much famous like Charlie Chaplin.. Though the former two were equally or even more talented than Chaplin on Screen.. Was admiring Charlie till I have a chance to watch Buster and Lloyd... What great artists are they at that time... Couldn't imagine how well they would have done with the current technologies now.. Hats off to all 3 artists for entertaining the World... Love from India....

There were several really great bands in the 60s but only ONE the Beatles. Same here with Chaplin.

Amazing acting 🎭 in those days you don’t need to hear them to laugh your eyes out no bad words just lots of funny stuff and amazing stunts done by the actors themselves! I couldn’t stop laughing 😂
