Prince confirmed the game later in an interview. However, Prince said that him and his friends weren't that good at basketball, it's that Charlie and _his_ friends were that bad.

You know what the craziest part of this story is? Prince had a "helper" bring these guys shoes and clothes that conceivably had to fit them so I imagine he had a whole area in Paisley Park with different size clothes and sneakers so he could kit his opponents out and then dominate them in heels and puffy shirts. Prince was the ultimate troll. RESPECT.

I used to have this on DVD a long, long time ago. In the special features there was few other stories he told as well. They were just Charlie telling the stories in front of that green screen though, they didn’t have the comedic dramatizations to go along with them.

Wallace Thompson all of Charlie's stories are. Dave paid him to just come tell stories because he has so many. He tells many more stories outside of chappelle show that are crazier. Him being a Murphy when his brother was at his peak meant he was always in the action, but had a chip on his shoulder because he came out of the military to find his brother rolling in dough but seemed to think he could never get out of Eddie's shadow. Searching for his stories you'll find a bunch of standup comics tell some. They're pretty legendary
