Castnetting loads of bait on the beach!

Every fall I take a trip to load the bait freezer with chum for winter. I freeze them in gallon ziplocks and they're great for snapper and grouper during the colder months when bait is much harder to catch. With just a few throws I had plenty and had to let some go on the last throw as it would have been hard to transport so much!

I have the exact same net that’s 5’ I use at the river. I got the 3/16” holes and nothing escapes that

That's a 1/4" mesh. I do have a 3/16" as well that is good for glass minnows
