Is a Jackery a viable solution for charging eMountain Bikes? Karnak says "YES!"

Need more KZfaqrs to take notes on how he provided details on bike, battery, time on charger, battery level before and after and showed solar generator percent of use before and after. Bonus was providing miles riding and remaining battery percent. Thanks for sharing

Thank you so much. I just bought a rad power e bike and have had concerns about range. Spare batteries are more expensive than a Jackery.

Hi OldGoat, you said (and we saw it in the vid) your ebike has been charged 30% in one hour. I wonder how much current is the power supply of you ebike use? Is it a 2A or a 4A charger? Because I recently tried for my wife and my bike two 4A eBike charger simultaneously with a BLUETTI 500W power station. After 40 min both ebikes had 40 % additional capacity. The power station was down to 40% (from 100%). The entire power drain of these two charger went down from 360W to 300W during the charge process, because modern battery management system varies the power. Thanx and cheers!

How many volts is the battery and how many amps is the charger...thanks...I’m guessing it’s a 4 amp charger for a 36v battery...I could probably just get a Jackery 240 for a partial charge...what do you think?

I was told it's not ideal, but I wonder if I could charge a 3 wheeled Eco bike with a Jackery ? I got one of those Xiaomi three person ones(gold cart looking thangs) Charger states Input ac 220v +10%50-60HZ

I think the Ancheer Orange Sunshine is a great ebike for that you can get from Amazon plus its 350w and can put Tannus tires on them so you don"t get a flat tire

Never mentioned voltage max or cut off voltage of the battery. 36v nom ≈ 42v max.

Thanks for posting! I’ve been looking online to see if this worked lol. My other question is, what’s the smallest wattage generator I can use? The Jackery 1000 is still $1000. Ouch. My bike is a 2017 Levo with a 500w battery.

I really wonder an e-bike cannot charge themselves when you're riding except for the regenerative braking? There must be a way. Your car can charge the battery when you're driving with a generator. What if you had a generator on your bike?

I think I saw someone on here use a 150 watt motor and make a pedal generator, and they were about to charge 48v at 6 amps

We use a honda EU1000i and it charges my girlfriend's 2018 Levo from dead to full charge in about 2.5 hours. We charge it while driving tied on the bike rack (hitch mount) when traveling and between long rides. Works Great

I have a 48v 20ah battery pack. Do you know if I used up about %40 of the battery that is less than 400w. Do you think a Jackery 500 would charge it ?

It would charge it up to 500 watts if the Jackery 500 is fully charged. So over half of the ebike battery.

I have a real nice conversion e-fat bike mountain bike, but there's no way that I'll be using it in the mountains just to get it filthy dirty. Everyone's different though, sometimes unfortunately.

Where would you put the Jackery while riding it? Don't think it's a good idea to have it on the bike rack.

Yep! Get an Ebike trailer and you can put the jackery inside and a solar panel on top of the trailer like a lid which would also double up as protection from the elements for anything in the trailer

Lol where would you put the Jackery?? It wouldn't be smart to have it on your bike while you're riding even if we're able to work.

Yes. I have the 300 and it works. It only use around 120 watts to charge my E Bike off my Jackery 300.

@@danielweeks3723 well worth it for sure. You can take it camping and recharge it using your 12volt in your car. It'll take about 11 hours to recharge and if you're road tripping with your ebike and you lack power, it's a great thing to have.

@@danielweeks3723 and not mention taking it to backyard parties or even tailgating. You can watch the pregame with your TV and the Jackery for hours while tailgating.

@@danielweeks3723 look at the battery and if it's a 48 volt with 14 Amp hours that's 672 watts needed to fully charge from 0 percent. Using Jackery 1000 will charge battery 1.5 times
