@@jwsuicides8095 or does it defy logic....... for certain women perhaps not. He will be eternally grateful for visits. He will never be running around with other women (writing to them maybe but you will never know). He will return mail asap. He's never going to hit, rape or be physically violent to you. If he gets emotional abusive or needy you can just leave the relationship. Safely. You can sell your romance story in a book even. After all he 'choose' you if he marries you. Really though - a man that's never getting out of prison is safe(ish).A lot of vulnerable, abused women don't want another relationship with a man that has the potential to physically hurt them, but do want connection - a soulmate. Connection which the man may also crave. Unlike a man on the outside that could hit you: he never will get out to try.

@@rottsandspots I'd rather be on my own. A psychopath won't be a partner or soulmate, imo. Innocent or guilty Steven Avery gave his faithful partner the run around while incarcerated...and with the attention that serial killers get I can but imagine they're unfaithful in thought and word, if not in deed. Years back a friend started on an official penfriend set up with a guy in prison. We're not talking murderers here though. She started falling and he lied, lied and used her up. Just horrible.

What I find interesting is that even within prisons there are hierarchys and in mates who are seen as " low" and targeted such as rapists , and child sex offenders , which would indicate even within those circles there are crimes that you just do not comitt.

Dr. Das, Great video as always. I learn something new everytime. Thanks Question : Each time Bronson acted out in prison was his release date near? The only reason I ask is because sometimes people that are incarcerated do not always want to be released, so they catch another charge, so they will be kept in prison. I think Bronson knows he can't cope with living on the outside of prison. Realistically, what is he going to do for a living? Who is going to give him a job? Who wants him for a neighbor? Store keeper? baby sitter? I know these are ridiculous, but you get the drift' . You said he was out 69 days before he reoffended , well that is plenty of time to decide how and where you want to live. He appears to me that he is happy in prison. He can cope pretty well, and not so well at times , but he always knows what to expect. I really don't know, just a thought..

Fascinating stuff, thanks. As you say you have this specialist insight and experience which is probably unique on youtube, and I think there's a huge audience for it if they find you. There are channels like Jim Can't Swim which do long form in depth videos (true crime with a psychological slant) which have millions of subscribers, and I hope you might go that way in future. (They're mainly American, so that market is pretty stale now, so I think your particular expertise in Britain might cater for those looking for new stories). For example I'd have enjoyed hearing about Bronson's upbringing and psychological factors which you think might have contributed to how he turned out. Tho I know that takes a lot of time! Anyway, really enjoying your channel, keep it up :)

@@APsychForSoreMinds Sohom you just need the "mike" to be a lot closer to your mouth and also different rooms have different acoustics, some mikes are quite direct in taking in sound from your voice, so just a small adjustment really. If you dip in and out, as in recording different bits at different times, using the same mike position and same room will be a big help with a consistent sound output. First, the video is very interesting, I’m certainly going to watch the other ones. And I have some remarks *You said he was remorseful about hitting a nurse, I belief, on the head. Although his solution was a bit strange, he did want to make it up. Isn’t that inconsistent with having a personality disorder? *To me he sounded a bit like ODD. Children with ODD also act violently. In my opinion most of the time because they can’t expres themselves very well. So rage and/or violence is the only tool they got. *How about genetics? There is this documented case of the Dutch familie, who were born violent. They even located the gen, I belief. I suppose more families must have this I their genes. *there is another reason to become enraged. It feels so good. All that adrenaline going through your body. He is a bit childish, naming himself after Charles Bronson. And later after Dali. But his idols were well chosen.
@APsychForSoreMinds
@APsychForSoreMinds 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Janette. You still can have remorse with a personality disorder, though it would be less common in psychopathy. ODD is like a younger version of antisocial personality disorder, which is like a less severe form of psychopathy (the latter has specific additional features). Aggression is certainly partially genetic, as is mental illness and criminality. However, there are numerous different alleles and genes that contribute. When you speak about pleasure from rage, are you talking from your own experience?
