As a Dutchman, I think I don't sound silly when I say that I'm a little proud of the female metal singers we have. This is another example of a very good singer. The female singers we have here who are successful are mostly all classical. Very melodic. I agree with you where you say that it was musically quite heavy and that the voice is unexpectedly soothing. But it works.

Point of order - former singer with Delain. 😉 This is much more accessible than the previous album. More Metal overall, but undeniably Charlotte. 🤘💜
