You are right about being 60 and touring with the MTS. I got mine at 61 (2012) and since rode it to Canada (X2) around Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. Next year I'm riding from west TX to Sacramento to visit my brother. Along the way we'll ride through Death Valley and Yosemite N.P. Life begins when work ends!

That sounds awesome Gary... I love this bike, I had a '15 GSA but I didn't like it's lack of power and buzzing thumper feel on the highway so I sold it. I hope this bike doesn't rev too high on the hwy.

These type of bikes, especially the BMW GS, are extremely popular around here. King of the Alps they say. Perfect for traveling and mountain pass tours.

Chase... Not sure what exactly Milos is talking about but Ive seen one documentary about Ducati... Mega Factory - ducati... and it was all about Ducati introducing new line of bikes...Multistrada enduro... why they did it, how much money was put into development, and ofc, how its made... ^^ Really interesting. ;)

The bike sounds great when your under acceleration , I would drive around all day just cranking the throttle just to hear it . I also really like the slimness and over all design of the pipe . I think I would actually leave the stock exhaust on this if I owned it .

For the centerstand, there normally is a foldable handle just under the seat to lift the weight of the bike.

All you need to do to get the bike on the center stand is step on the stands foot thing with you weight while holding the bike and it will pop right up.

You can change urban mode to have the full display instead of just the MPH. I believe the normal multistrada is about 2 plus inches shorter. It also comes with an iOS app (maybe Android as well), that allow you to track a ton of telemetry data, like GPS tracking, max speed, max lean angle, remaining fuel, etc.

think Ducati made a strong competitor to BMW gs1200 and KTM as well. The look of the bike does come off lil odd but grows on you after time. The only thing that I am personally not a fan of is the key fob. A side from that its all around a nice bike for the money.

haha that thing is massive dude!! I jumped on a yamaha tenere 660 I think and it was huge kinda similar to it and also felt tiny on it and I am just under 6ft....But that bike is pretty nice with all it offers and has some power

The thing that you can only touch the ground with your toes. Then it means it has the right height for you. That makes it better to lean into a corner

I'm only 5'6.5" and I can ride that bike reasonably comfortably. It's a bit intimidating at first, to be sure, but it's not that bad with the low seat.

I have a 2011 MS, I'm 64 and also 5'10" and can put my let straight over the seat. I would never get on a bike like you did. The bike has a rear brake? 430 lbs is huge? You're got it all wrong. The bike will kick your ass if you do more than tickle it the way you're doing.

hi chaseontwowheels, l enjoyed most of your vids. Just an idea, for your next vids, can you please always include a footage of you on top of the bike you tested (by taking a camera shot sideway in front of a large reflective glass door or just taking photo from your tripod) so that your viewers can get better idea & visual description about the riding position + bike size comparison with a rider in each bike you tested.

I don't just ask for someone riding this specific motorcycle but I'm looking into beginning riding soon. and when you're cruising down the road without touching the handle bars is there any chance of your front wheel spazzing out causing you to wreck ? I was really worried the whole time you were off the handle bars lol. idk why but I just imagine the front wheel getting speed wobbles and it freaks me out.

The Triumph Multistrada might be a good bike to ride and it sounds awesome. But fuck me is the front ugly. And by the way, would a one of the new Buells (EBR now) be available for you to do a first ride on? They sound extremely awesome, they got tons of torque and power and just some really interesting things about them in general. Like the ZTL brakes for example. I bet you'd have a blast on an 1190SX!
