In this video, we are chasing John Petrucci's Pull Me Under Guitar Tone. To achieve John Petrucci's unique guitar sound you can use this video as a John Petrucci Guitar Gear Tone Guide. I used Mesa Boogie Mark V Amp, Mesa Boogie Slanted Rectifier 4x12 Cab, Neuman TLM 103, and Shure sm57 mics for this recording.

For pull me under tone you need the mesa boogie quad preamp. Unfortunately the mark V doesn't get near close to that.
