Got to go with the GTO. The suspension issues are easily fixed with the right parts and camber. You can also increase the reliability and power sinply by going through the motor. Probably going to get one as my next ride once I'm done building my truck.

I would suggest the n54 engine in various BMWs amazing tunabillity (850 hp for a car that you can pick up for 5k) and engine reliability. The n54 is reliable even thought everything around it isn’t!

@@IdealMediaChannel The AMG is the best I had a 2008 S63 AMG with the 6.2ltr. I unfortunately had to sell as I had to move to another state for work. But that AMG was by far the best sounding car I have ever heard. The corvette would be a nice second for the reason you mentioned they are everywhere. I would do the C6 not the C5 a little more money but a-lot more car.

So you feature the GTO ( Monaro) around VR - VT model I think and the later VY-VE SS Commodore being a reasonably quick family car here in Australia. Maybe look at the Clubsport variant from HSV which is also marketed in England as the Vauxhall R8 Clubsport too....

Brad man i got a 2004 e55 amg with a 77 mm supercharger pully straight piped making about 500 horses 9000 and its super reliable u should have had that as the benz option and the only tesla with Ludacris mode is the 100d the one u covered was the model s its not as fast and not all models self drive lol

One thing you guys forgot to say about Teslas, or EVs in general, they have all their power at once, and in a longer race, a gasoline car (or diesel), will hit its power band or hit boost, and it will start to catch up, unless your car is really slow, and also, where's the fun in driving fast if it's silent (supercar will always look cooler than a Tesla)

If I went LS i’d just buy a 2001 2500HD... hear me out, they’re nearly free and come with an amazing drivetrain, it’s almost like it is a gift from god himself. Plus the stock bottom end is as strong as a Cummins. I have a TT recipe for 1500hp on the stock bottom end, $15k including the truck and built trans, 3.3lb/hp. For contrast, LaFerrari=4.36 lb/hp.
