The Nissan GT-R price is not dropping a 2009, the 2009 GTR started at 60k, and they are still going for 45-50k. GTR prices are not dropping.

GTR prices have been stable or gone up in the last year. Sure you can find a beat up high mileage example for maybe 45. But if it’s clean title under 70k mikes the price is going to be close to 60k for all years including the 09-11 CBAs which is crazy considering the GTR original MSRP was about 65k. Original CBA owners have been able to drive there car almost free for the last 10 years. He way off on the GTR prices.

Yeah 0 performance! It is a slow tiny ,weak,horrible 3 cylinder engine(tiny piece of crap engine,even worse than 4 cylinder engines)even worse,it is a hybrid! Hybrid and electric cars are ABOMINATIONS NOT real cars! Real cars are only powered by gasoline and diesel! "Cars" powered by anything else is an ABOMINATION!

Underrated comment, the amount you have to spend to find those legacy parts is 2-3times the amount of regular parts, so don't even think about crashing it

@@anakingaming3687 With all of the other options, oh dear god yes. My buddy owns a Continental, which he recently sold to get a used RR Wraith, and he also owned an i8. I own a '15 GT-R, and as long as you're willing to do basic maintenance yourself (oil, brakes, rotors, etc) it's really no more expensive than a normal car, save for brand new rotors. Those others, on the other hand, will cripple you HARD.

I literally LOL'd ad this. While not a car, I once owned a 2000 Ducati 996. It was an absolutely AMAZING machine that I purchased in 2007 for $8700. Over the course of 1.5 years (as I left it in pieces on Ojai 33), I dropped about $5-6k in maintenance on it. Could I afford it? Sure. Was I happy about it? No, not really. And that''s why the next bike was a Buell 1125R. Maintenance...it's a thing.

You are supposed to enjoy it to the fullest. Most afraid to put miles on the car. So they rarely drive the car.

There are plenty of cars that can beat the tesla (combustion engines included) and going in a straight line is not driving 😂 also you need the model s p100d wich is expensive, and easily outperformed by other cars in that price range. And they dont need to stop for 1.5 hours after they send it😂 also we can go 130km/h on the highway with A/C ON!!!! (😂) and still do 2 times the range any tesla can perform. @A A Tesla is new to the game in terms of mass production and popularity but engine/ fuel cars hold more value alot longer. Buy a 2020 tesla p100D for 100k plus no joke next year it will be worth 50-70k depending on circumstances because people don't want used electric cars because the battery replacement is a very very hefty price is why electrical car market has alot of time and innovation needed to push out the gas car market

I bought a used 07 997.1 Manual two years ago. It’s been a very nice car that is holding on to what I paid for it. I’m really wanting to get back into a Lotus Evora. I had a 13 model and hate that I got rid of it. Waiting for the 17-18 year models to go down a bit more and will likely pick up another one.

I agree with the entire list, kinda disagree on the Nissan GTR though. Because even an 09 with 50k+ miles are still over $60k. And that's kinda a lot lol. Also, when you buy a GTR you want the 2012+ because of the better trans, and those are all over $70k. Asides that, GREAT VIDEO

I totally agree with you! I bought my GT-R for 70K exactly an it’s a 2012 and I wanted at least a 2012 for the transmission reason! It was also hard to find a 2012 with decent miles for as low as 70k! If anyone is interested in how much I pay, give my channel a look I made a video on how much I pay monthly an total for my car 🤙

The Svr and the v8 supercharged have the exact same engine, there is a tune available to up the power (and match it) on both.

unfortunately there is no magic depreciation, there's always a reason why some cars depreciate much more than others, one of most important factors is reliability, so if some luxury or super sport car is suspiciously cheap that means there are(most likely) very big running costs like maintenance(like eg vw phaeton) or enormous fuel consumption etc .. but sometime its some stupid shit like 'fryed egg' lights on 996 Porsche just making it way less desirable :D

7:15 40-50k will get you a salvage/rebuilt CBA GTR if lucky at this current time since the demand of GTRs have gone up with covid in the GTR groups. Prices have been increased within 4-7k of what it normally was in the end of 2019/ beginning of 2020. Its an odd time in the GTR market. It’s pretty much at its peak at this point for holding value. If anyone was purchasing one probably best to wait a few more months. Also, we meet at cars and cigars when you brought the Porsche. Great video, super detailed! I hope all is well!

I’ve been in the gtrlife forums and it’s pretty crazy what they’re selling for now. Like you said, it’s an odd time in the GTR market. I’m going to hold off until the laws of depreciation start making sense again lol

@@arny9460 Same here! I thought about getting one w/ FBO already but I know I’ll hate myself if I don’t go FBO myself lol. I’ve seen a few stock ones but they’re asking for mid $70ks which is just absurd considering they were mid $60ks a few years ago. People need to come back to reality next year. And it’s funny because I want a trackhawk too lol. It’s not as high priority as the gtr for me but I do think I’ll try to buy one eventually (if prices ever come back to reality)

"AMG GT" "pretty reliable" you can choose one, not both. also a big reason why they have plummeted in price even if they are just a few years old.... go check prices on things like breaks, shocks and clutch on those and with the age they all need to be changed around this time. and then check what hourprice Mercedes want to do the service for... (here that is over 400$ per hour) supercars usually comes with super prices... with some exceptions like the DeTomaso's and the absolute favourite underdog of em all... the Bizzarrini 5300 GT both using standard run of the mill shelf components and crate engines that there is tons of spare parts for, just don't crack a panel...

Find and stock GTR?! You might know that they all tunned up Stage 2 require a gearbox change. Most of GTRs that are saling are almost dead or was in crash and all of them are not stock.

So true. I would not buy a second hand GTR, would have been thrashed as well. Had a mate who owned one, and he got rid of it as the maintenance was too high, and parts too expensive.

Not true. Bought a 16 gtr for 55k in dec. Fbo e85 (12k) in parts already added. Was mint. I did replace the trans to beef it up but I can tell you for a fact. Most gtr owners build them but don't dog them out
