Cheap DIY Crutch Jack for trailside tire repair

2 жыл бұрынRepairing a flat on the trailside can be a challenge if you don't have a center stand and don't want to lay the bike on its side. A crutch jack can be made from an old aluminum crutch. This is a very handy thing to pack with you to be able to make necessary repairs to get you back to riding.

Superb!👌🏾 I was looking to buy the SW version of ADV 390, the only thing that was stopping me from doing so was lack of a centre stand and tubeless spoked rims. I came up with an idea something like this but had not fully thought it out. Now I will stop thinking or rather start thinking on how to make it better 😂

Wow, ok, just thinking if you can use something like that for a streetbike with no center stand but has spools...... 🤔🤔🤔

You definitely could. I contemplated drilling the swingarm to install a threaded insert similar to what’s used for spools, but don’t want to leave a spool installed and the threads would just get filled with dirt/mud
