I bought a FWD B5 A4 1.8t for $800, it was tuned but basically stock. After a lot of work it's been my daily for almost 3 years and has a bigger turbo, E85 and methanol making about 300whp. I personally did the tune and currently building an engine for a even bigger turbo!

Can vouch for the SN95 Mustang, especially the higher output 99-04 models. V8 and V6 both can handle 400-450 hp well, aftermarket is still plentiful for the V8 models, pretty good chassis for racing applications, fairly reliable vehicles into high mileage. Own/have owned both V6 and GTs.

Pretty sure mustang and Camaro have pretty much same type of suspension and the Camaros is arguably better. Only the cobras had irs in those years and the later mustangs eventually went IRS

@@steveint4667 It would be the top end of your budget. Some used part will help for sure. You can do it with out a garage, it's all under hood so you can close hood when not working on it. I'd suggest doing it yourself. It's really not that hard at all for a procharger.

Idk, my buddy had a supercharged c230 and did all the work himself and parts really weren't that bad....but then again he did all the work himself so I'm sure shop price is nuts lol

As I was seeing from other videos the rt since it puts power to the ground better and I guess the 5.7 had more tuning potential that's what I got from everything compared to all the hemi engines
