Rose - last I had heard, Rogers sugar is not vegan if it's from the Vancouver plant. They use bone char as a whitener. Red Path sugar is vegan, pretty sure it's also available across Canada.

Thank you for all the recipe, even though non of these was a breakfast food for me because if it isn't sweet it isn't gonna end up on my breakfast plate. I just can't stomach savory foods in the morning without getting nauseous. But I will definitely try some of these for lunch/dinner soon. :)

I don't usually eat breakfast but now mmmm yes thank you :p and Kaitlin's videos wow those look good too . The bruschetta wow :p Tofu waffles oh my god, that looks like heaven. I'd use maple syrup and gravy. And that's a clever way to chop potatoes 😍 hash browns mmmm yes. Using the bag method is easier no messy clean up

I could eat hash browns for breakfast every day. By the way, you can make some awesome hash browns with a waffle maker, they’ll be super crispy (just squeeze most of the water out of the potatos before seasoning).

Thinking about those waffles - Yum! Because of this collaboration, Cheap Lazy Vegan has a new subscriber. You should look for how to make vegan "bacon" from a daikon radish. Yeah. That. One thing:This TX girl makes her cornbread with white cornmeal & NO sugar - we use it A LOT, like not even kidding: Chili, Mexican casserole, etc. Oh man, now, I'm craving cornbread too!! 😆👍💜

As a Canadian I love seeing the little inside references like compliments brand stuff (I work at Sobeys) and the dollar store measuring spoons. I buy so much cooking stuff at Dollarama it's ridiculous. The tofu and waffles looks like they would go great with maple syrup and hot sauce. Also can we talk about how expensive maple syrup is. A couple of months ago I got a bottle of wine filled with maple syrup as a gift and I was so excited. Someone said to me they would be disappointed if they got a bottle of wine with anything other than wine in it and I don't fuck with people who don't appreciate free maple syrup. Every one of those dishes look straight out of an overpriced vegan spot except you made it at home for cheap which is dope.
