Frank's brilliant strategy of indifference/acceptance is known as "The Cobra" and is only used by about 10% of men but it is devastating to the woman. The alternate strategy of the man getting visibly angry, "The Pitbull", only drives the woman further away. In real life, the divorce rate for the Pitbull is enormous but near zero for the Cobra.

It is always painful to realize that you have wasted part of your life. Six months, a year, two years can be considered a lesson learned. But ten or fifteen years is a life wasted on someone who doesn't deserve it. It wasn't a first audition for me, but it was a very pleasant one. Beautiful LLC

had to divorce as she did step out and even though SHE SAID never cheated he lost all his trust in her and that is a cornerstone of marriage that will cause it to crumble down if gone

I loved it when he asked her friend if she was married or a counselor. To many friends tell you stay with the cheating spouse if they can look the wife/husband and forgive for cheating then let the partner cheat

An old story. But the beginning was changed a bit. But, seriously....once married, the couple make the oath, I mean it's not arranged married for political purpose.... Unless the well being of the wife is threatened or the kids are threatened (meaning hubby break his oath or vice versa) then wife "feeling" unhappy does not justify her breaking the marriage.

Ok this guy over did it. There was no need to take it that far once he realised her mistake. She cheated by kissing guys. It could have been way worse. IF Frank was so effected that he needed to get his heart and mind straight, then maybe he should have worked on the marriage once she was ready to also. Seems a waste

I can't agree with the OP. I see no need to play games when faced with these kinds of situations. When a wife asks for a divorce that's it! In the short term if it is not economically feasible for one of you to leave the home then move to the guest bedroom or make her move. Instead of playing games go find a divorce attorney and get started with the rest of your life. Based on the typical age of marriage being 23 to 27 this female after 15 years of marriage is 40 give or take a few years. She is soon going to discover her true value. A 40-something male is just starting to hit his most valuable years. By the time I was 40 I was already in upper management making almost 200K a year. I admit it is frustrating watching someone you love, be her a daughter, mother, sister, or wife fall to all the toxicity in Western society today, but in the end, you must just let her go! Your sanity demands it!

Agreed, women are fed a bunch of lies, and propaganda starting when they are little girls. Why? Well, it's simple... women make up 86% of consumer spending and over 3/5 of debt. They also vote more often than men by a wide margin. Miserable, and insecure people make the best consumers.

FINIALY a story with a guy that's intelligent 🧠 enough to not rush right back into another marriage most of these tell about some poor dude that gets put through hell and inexplicably turn right around and start the cycle all over again by rushing into another relationship usually getting remarried before the story ends this time we got a little realism and with the protagonist actually learning something from his first marriage was really sick of the guys that wasted 5-30 years of their life and took nothing away from the experience

She did cheat. She went on dates with other men that alone is cheating. Kissing another man is cheating period any acts not just sex is cheating. Besides I do not believe she did not cross that line. She definitely started having sex with someone else reason for requesting the divorce.
