This must be the first story I've come across where the wife leaves with her AP and never comes back for any reason, no information about what she is doing, if she is alive, if her life is not what she envisioned it to be, nothing, just OP slowly picking up the pieces and moving with with a better life, very good story.

Wow, that was a great story. I was really waiting for the other shoe to drop and the ex-wife would reappear but thankfully that didn't happen.

This story was good but I pegged Reni as the love interest and figured James might as well be wearing a red security shirt for star trek landing party!

The fact that he can adopt a girl who had a good father and who is on her birth certificate. Even if it's possible, I can't make sense of it. Theres....some trope in manga n hmanga where a professional woman, near her 30, never sleep around and act profesionally, always focusinf on work n never flirt or sleep around. In the past, guy reach top of his career midlife and found early 20s woman as mistress. So, why not write as story where WW ditch BH. Somehow BH got the kid....and the manga trope woman, who is working as BH's secretary or manager, become the new love for BH? I mean....its a pity that the husband become redshirt so that renee could be cast as new love for BH....
