We're back with another exciting stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, and this time, we're checking in to Disney's Contemporary Resort in a room with a breathtaking Theme Park View! 🏰✨ This is a dream stay for many Disney fans, and we're thrilled to share this experience with you.
Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of the original Walt Disney World hotels, known for its iconic A-frame structure and its proximity to Magic Kingdom. It's just a short monorail ride away from the park, making it a top choice for many guests. The resort features a variety of dining options, including the famous California Grill, and offers stunning views of the nightly fireworks.
In this video, we'll give you a sneak peek of our room with that incredible view, wander around the resort to explore areas we've never seen before, do some shopping, and grab some dinner. Of course, we'll share our initial thoughts on the experience.

I have started to get a pin from every park and resort we have stayed at. I may need to start collecting the ornaments as well. lol. Please tell me that Russ got the Chef Mickey's apron and hat! 😄 Also if you ever get a chance you have to try the Stackburger from Steakhouse 71. 😍

Collecting pins is so much fun! I've been doing it since the beginning and love to continue building my collection when I stay at a new resort or ride a new attraction. Christmas ornaments are tempting, but I've got WAY too many and we're not really a "put up a tree" kind of family. . . despite Russ loving Christmas. Sadly, we passed on the apron and hat, but his birthday is right around the corner so maybe!? 😉 Ok! The Stackburger from Steakhouse71! That's the one Russ has been wanting to try and once he read your comment he hasn't stopped talking about it. I think we'll have to see if we can get a reservation over there, 'cause we've heard so many good things about that burger and after the D-Luxe burger video we got a comment asking about the best burgers in our opinion. . . . I feel like that one is likely to make the list! Thanks for the recommendation!

That view from your room, wow. We have been put off by the Incredibles theming but as you say, it looks subtle. Nice to see merch for Chef Mickey’s, yet more pins to buy 🤦🏻 Fantasia Market is the only shop in the Contemporary Resort to sell DVC merch (strangely not with clothing merch in the other store). Small selection in our opinion.

It is an AMAZING view! I will say, I understand the theme being off-putting, but we honestly didn't think it was over the top or too childish or anything like that. . . . and we say that not really being incredible fans. We put a room tour up today, so you can get a better look if that's something you're interested in. Yes! We love that there is Chef Mickeys merch available! For me, it's the plushies. . . 🤦‍♀️Who needs decorative pillows when you've got an army of plushies! 😆 I agree, it's quite the small selection; not even including the entire current collection, which is disappointing in my opinion.

As DVC members you can go to Villain's Lair on top of Bay Lake Tower and music is sync'd

33:09 Is any type of restaurant or bar patio available for guests or members of the general public visiting the parks to view the fireworks at the Contemporary if they don’t have a room with a theme park view?

Hey, do you know if they will let you park in the Contemporary Parking lots if you have a lunch reserve at Steakhouse 71? I know parking is at a premium there. Also, can we leave our car there and sneak over to MK for a few hours. ? Thanks Mortals.

According to Disney, guests with dining reservations have the ability to park at the resort while they are dining. Once you are done dining, you should be moving your car so that other guests have a place to park so that they don't miss their dining reservations and/or can park their car when checking in.
