As an Indian I can make out that Gordan didn't make vegetable korma..instead he made a different version of daal.. Vegetable korma is entirely different.. Main ingredients are potatoes, peas, chickpeas,carrot, cauliflower etc...

Nope! Tadka Daal and Vegetable Korma are entirely two different things. Vegetable korma in general is more tastier than Daal. Also, daal is made everyday at every home in India, while Korma is generally a restaurant fancy item and occasionally made at home, generally when you want to eat something nice. The people who are rating are basically rating for taste. As I said earlier, they are entirely two different things with Korma having a wide layers of flavor and would always beat Daal. I think she went for daal cause its very simple thing to cook. Also, people who rated dont know what authentic daal is. Its basically comparing Hamburger with Sandwich when you don't know what is what. Of-course hamburger would win most days.
