I prepared lemon flavored crinkle cookies. It seems it's gonna be the flavor of the month!
Ingredients List:
4 glasses of flour (200 ml)
2 eggs
1 tea glass of hazelnuts (125 ml)
1 tea glass of oil
1 tea glass of granulated sugar
2 lemons
1 pack of vanilla
1 pack of baking powder
1 teaspoon turmeric
For the topping:
Powdered sugar
Preparation:
We powder the hazelnuts using a food processor. We take the sugar into the mixing bowl, grate the lemon on the sugar. Rub the lemon peel well with the sugar. We crack the egg. Squeeze the juice of the lemon. We add the juice in. Add the oil. Add half a tea glass of lemon juice. Beat well with a wire whisk. We add turmeric. We add the ground hazelnuts. Add the flour, vanilla and baking powder. We knead well. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. We roll the walnut-sized dough with our hands and coat with powdered sugar. We place them on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. I baked it in a preheated 180 degree oven for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
PS: If you add 1 tablespoon of flour less than 4 glasses of flour, you will get a softer dough. We got 35 cookies out of this measure.
