Sorry Rory but in the first 10 years of my life, I'm 45 now, the traditions of Chelsea Football club were to play predominantly in the 2nd tier of English football and occasionally finish in the mid table of the top tier. When Arsenal won the league in 1989 Chelsea won the league to get promoted. You didn't become a consistent top 6 club until around 1997 and only started challenging for league titles from 2005

Chelsea reminds me of 2018 Arsenal, the only difference is the billion pound spent compared to Arsenals £2.50. There's talent in the squad like Arsenals but there is something wrong with the culture of the club, something that takes a manager who is willing to do some serious work to fix it. The scary part for Chelsea is will Todd understand that instead of just throwing insane money at a problem that can't just be solved with just money. How much talent is being poisoned in that dressing room, as all purchases failed to take into account players personality. As Klopp said he only signed players he met in person and liked because bad work ethic is deadly to a dressing room and extremely few managers can deal with that. Looking back its starling how much you can compare, the broken fanbase and the players who seem to enjoy the london nightlife more than they should. All because of American owners who think they can run the club like an NFL franchise but fail at the first hurdle as the prem doesn't hold your hand for poor ownership. Rory i seriously disagree with ur enzo fernandez take to be honest, poch has misprofiled him and therefore played him in the wrong position. He is a very good footballer, significantly better than connor gallagher, and if we had a proper structure I honestly believe that he would thrive. The same applies for Caicedo, Jurgen Klopp would not be willing to spend £110m on mediocrity. Caicedo has a skillset that Klopp literally preferred over Bellingham's, we were told Liverpool were unable to spend £100m to get Bellingham eventhough they clearly disproved this as they subsequently put a bid in. I am also pretty sure that Klopp wanted to get Enzo. Again, you could also put forth the same argument for mudryk, as Arteta was convinced of his talent (albeit not for £62+add ons). Now, I personally believe Gallagher is a huge reason as to why we are languishing in mid table mediocrity, he has been deployed as a number 10 who rarely progresses play. He can make a tackle and run around, but his skillset is useless in a team that is built around possession-based attacking football. I am extremely disappointed that carney, who is on a different planet to gallagher, does not get to start in the 10.

As a united fan looking in, im shocked how low you lot and us have sunk. Both teams are full of too many players who know they wont win the league but also know they wont get relegated and so they are living the lives all 20 somethings dream of, loads of money, free time and any girl you want. Before the Sheffield United match, I didn’t completely agree with the emotional whining about how bad Poch is, but after watching the tactical decisions made for the Sheffield match, I now 100% agree with you. Time wasting after 0-1 and periodically after 1-2, Chelsea deserved to not win. There were times where Cole Palmer ran back to the defensive midfield to pick up the ball because he was sick of the time wasting.

If Sterling had played a single minute y’all would’ve blamed him for the draw and calling for his head ⚔️

To now recruiting youngsters that are no where near ready for the premier league. Yet the owners expect the team to be top 4 with young stars. Now we are mid table and very little chance of making European futbol. No quality players around the world will want to join Chelsea after this season with no European football and how bad we have looked all season long.
