The NSTA hosted the SoCal Regional Conference on Saturday, March 25, 2017. The conference took place at the Long Beach Marriott. Dr. Duncan received her bachelor of arts degree in Kinesiology from Occidental College, followed by her doctorate in physical therapy from University of Southern California. Dr. Duncan is currently a physical therapist at re+active physical therapy & wellness, an outpatient neurologic physical therapy clinic that specializes in working with people who have movement disorders. As the Schmidt Movement Disorders Fellow, she works directly with the Movement Disorder Specialists at the University of California, Los Angeles both in clinic and off-site through research collaboration. Through her commitment to patient-centered care, she regularly participates in both community outreach programs and clinical research, most recently in the populations of dystonia and Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Duncan’s goal is always to partner with her clients to help them recover activity, restore hope and rediscover the joy of movement.
