Well, those are bets, the idea is not only to be innovative but also competitive vs the status quo products. The one on cheese could be feasible if they really get the tech to do it, it will be either cheaper and/or faster, require less resources and will end up being a similar product. This is why these are kinda start ups, waiting to be economically stable in the future

Legally, you should be able to get it either from your academic institution or work. You can find similar software which are free

your role is to keep the product within specifications, meaning that you need to know a lot of the process, raw materials, inlets, limits, T,P conditions, etc...

@@ChemicalEngineeringGuy are bioreactors, bioprocess and everything else relavant enough to chemical engineering? Everything seems new to me and I'm taken aback a bit. What kind of an approach should I take or which all methods should I adobt to stay relavant in production of vaccines? Currently I'm in upstream process dealing with bioreactors while the downstream process is related to purification process which includes chromatography and other techniques. Will I be more relavant in upstream or downstream?
