Mikhail Tal was a Soviet Latvian chess player and the eighth World Chess Champion.
Widely regarded as a creative genius and one of the best attacking players of all time, Tal played in a daring, combinatorial style. His play was known above all for improvisation and unpredictability. It has been said that “Every game for him was as inimitable and invaluable as a poem". He was often called "Misha", a diminutive for Mikhail, and "The magician from Riga". Both The Mammoth Book of the World's Greatest Chess Games and Modern Chess Brilliancies include more games by Tal than any other player. In addition, Tal was a highly regarded chess writer. He also previously held the record for the longest unbeaten streak in competitive chess history with 95 games (46 wins, 49 draws) between 23 October 1973 and 16 October 1974, until Ding Liren's streak of 100 games (29 wins, 71 draws) between 9 August 2017 and 11 November 2018.
The Mikhail Tal Memorial has been held in Moscow annually since 2006 to honour Tal's memory. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhail...

really one of the best games of Tal, beauty of his game is that he almost invites the opponent to check mate him but in the end ends up winning the game 🔥

Great. Though it comparatively had less surprising moves. But it still had some very surprising moves. Like knight sacrifice. I would have moved knight to the edge of the board.. (even if knights on the rim is dim) because then as well i will free position for my queen to move Without sacrificing my knight. But that was really tough to understand.. was it even necessary?? Also it was very nice idea to move the knight out of the way to let the pawn progress. I never tried that.. especially with the 3 pawns that defend the king from direct checks. I think watching mikhail tal's game does open my mind to think about counter attacking.. despite of just trying to save pieces. Now i know.. it's not about saving pieces or having material advantage. Game's more about gaining positional advantage and to not ignore the opportunities that might result in a win. Chess is the best board game ever made. Though even when mikhail tal had winning position.. if he would have captured rook with the rook, he would have lost... Which makes the game of chess world's most unique.. where even a single wrong move can make the winning person lose instantly. Nothing else would teach you the value of tactics and strategy in your life in better way. 😄😄😄
