Thank you so muchfor this video, I have an '05 Buick lacrosse doing the exact same thing and the scanner actually said "lost communication with TCM" so I'm gonna giver a shot and go to the junk yard cause the tcm I pulled out looks exactly the same as yours

Had shifting issues with my 2006 chevy cobalt. Speedometer not moving. Stuck in 1st gear. I disconnected the battery pulled TCM and disconnect it for 5mn. Plugged it back. Hooked up battery. Worked like a charm. Kinda like rebooted the system. Saved me lots of$ not bringing it to a Stealership.

Hey man. Check it out. I bought an 07 saturn ion 2.2 from the auction. Got going down the road and realized it wouldnt shift. So I went to a junkyard here in charlottesville and they gave me a tcm out of a 2008 malibu. I put it in and it shifts. But in drive it will get up to 3rd gear and wind out. I. In Low gear it'll get going but also winds out. I just want to get it straight. Do you have any recommendations??? At all?? Thank you, Rick.

My 2013 Chevy impala is currently down it doesn’t up shift and feels like it’s stuck in 1st or 2nd gear when I put it in reverse it does a hard jerk going into that gear and the code it’s showing is U0101 which it says the TCM has lost communication with other control modules you think changing the TCM would fix that ? I’m curious now before spending a ton of money on a new transmission

I’m having what sounds like the same problem. with my 2012 Chevy impala, LTZ when I pull off from a stop sign or a light if I push too hard on the pedal, it jerks and the RPMs stop working and the check engine light comes on but eventually over a day or so the check engine light goes off do you think it’s possible is the TCM ?

I'm goin to try that...mines will shift in reverse..will not shift in drive sometimes slips into neutral ....will partially work in low gear

I have a 2007 Chevy Uplander. Give it gas from a stop sign.....RPM's increase......then KLUNK and it starts to accelerate normally. Could this be the TCM ? Or shift solenoid? Any help is appreciated. Great video BTW.
