I got ya. Just found out it's a 98, with new engine and transmission and her dad said almost anything you can think of has been rebuilt. So 3000$ sounds good to me. :)

Well I look at it like this.... I don't have a payment on it and it does not cost me anything in taxes so even if I have to put some money in it, it is still bettet than having a monthly payment and high personal property taxes on a newer vehicle. That is just how I think. Anything to get over on "THE MAN", if you know what I mean.

My girlfriend's dad has the same truck but I don't know the year. And he has used it for work and other stuff but no longer uses it, and he's a mechanic and always working on vehicles. So I assume he has done work to the vehicle. From this information.. Would it be worth 3000$? I will be getting more information on it and my step-dad is a mechanic and is very good at fixing vehicles, but her dads truck has 214,000 miles and I just don't know if thats worth even looking at it. please reply
