They use wax paper for carry-out, which is the only proper way to do pizza take-out, not those cardboard boxes. That is old school - and I love it!

Of all the pizza places they showed in Chicago, Pat's is my favorite. I even went so far to see if they will deliver out of state. Thin crust mania! and looks absolutely delicious!

AirFlow lol...I stay in SC, home of sweet southern folks. I can't really complain about the people here. Ironically, Cali is where I'm moving. I've never been on the west coast. I'm excited. Coming from a small rural town, I've never seen "bums," though I wouldn't call them that (it's not really nice). I guess they'll be a culture shock to me. I'll just have to remember to carry lots of change everywhere I go. :-) But, before I get there I'll definitely have to visit Chicago. I hear they have the best pizza! I'm going to try a different pizzeria every day I'm there. And I hear Cali has lots of food trucks. #Foodie .

Haven't tried either of them, and ashamed to say it as i'm south suburban. Aurelio's and Palermo's would have my vote to be in this contest, but i don't think they went to them

All the tourists asking about deep dish and "why is it square:" We can't eat deep dish all the time or we'll die. Square cut is so nobody has to have parts they don't prefer (crust/edge/toppings). Get out more, you bumpkins.

Vito and Nick's is overrated. Good but not the best. Mama Luna's had great thin crust.

Looks like Vito&Nicks over cooks the pizza, to compensate for watery low grade Mozz. Cheese looks only slightly better than SuperMarket Mozz from skim milk.

Quad cities style pizza is far superior than Chicago and New York pizza. Frank's pizza in East moline Illinois and Harris pizza in Rock Island Illinois
