The master magician. "As you know we always let the guest decide" after I guide them to their choice. The water trap is a fantastic prop allowing the full flavour to emerge. Love these episodes.

@@corneliusthecrowtamer1937 A bit of both I think. I know drinking water is the worst thing to do after eating chillies. For reason it just makes the intensity worse. Perhaps dipping it in water just help get the juices flowing from the chillies making you get a fuller effect. I have always felt though that the glass of water has other meaning for Mr Klaus 😃

My friend. C18H27NO3 or capsaicin which gives us these wonderful experiences is an oil like substance in that it repels water. So when you eat the chili and have water it increases the intensity of the heat as it just washes the compound around your mouth. Milk is not the answer as it is only temporary relief,the true answer when you need to tap out is a glug of olive oil as it will clear the compound out of your mouth

@@arsonfireuk thanks this is very interesting. I ate a red chilli perhaps a scorpion at my late teenage years friends home and thought I was going to die and had a severe reaction. They gave me water which made it worse. I forgive them all as all they could do was laugh.

Klavs Bundgaard is a character in a danish podcast/comedy-show. His real name is Casper Nielsen and he is ac actor/comedian. His character Klavs swears all the time, and talks with this funny voice. It is probably the most popular podcast in Denmark right now :)

Its satire and trolling on a high level. A very popular independent radiostation called 24/7 was shut down because they were too brazen in their political satire, and like a phoenix rising from the smouldering ashes this guy, Klavs Bundgaard, is a parody of what the politicians wanted in all his querky incompetent splendor. Its bloody brilliant.

I'm just curious, is there an alternative translation when he keeps saying "Hell Yes"? Is that just his shtick? It seems out of place compared to his emotion and voice level. Just wondering.

from MY experience - there is lots of people saying they love spicy food and want to try superhots ignoring all warnings. results are always the same (and defenetly something that's not allowed to upload on youtube) as for the voice-level: never underestimate a radio- or tv-guys gift of controlling his body, these guys know how to be "silent" - i bet even his happy-place is burning inside
