Getting on for thirty years ago I used to work for a company that supplied artist 'Themers' to various waterparks and tourist attractions around the UK. One of our biggest jobs was the (then) new Sea Life Centre in Birmingham. We specialised in creating realistic rock faces from on-site hand carved concrete, often blending and disguising water pipes (which fed water features) into our work. My point being that a skilled 'Themer' could create a concrete feature so realistic that visitors wouldn't know it wasn't real rock, plus they'd have no idea where the water was being fed from. By comparison this Chinese 'waterfall' looks like it was bodged together by a bunch of right bloody cowboys.
