We spent a day at the Watertown of Tongli, which is near to where you stayed. There were many schoolchildren on a field trip and we took photos with them, received many unsolicited gifts mostly of strange foods. They practiced English with us and it was a very enjoyable day.

Shaoxing looks so calm and beautiful. Considering other food items in China, I would say Chicken feet is not that weird. Though I did not try it when I was in Hong Kong. I congratulate you Kaja for tasting it and also for the nice vlog 😅

I had chicken feet for the first time last year and I really like it, was spicy chicken feet at a tteokbokki place in Seoul.

In Hong Kong, we call it "phoenix claw". Phoenix is more glamorous than chicken. So if you don't like chicken feet, try phoenix claw.

Chicken feet contain skin, cartilage, tendons and bones so high in collagen protein - may help with joints, skin, and bone health :-)

Are you sure you're stuck? I want to be stuck here too... Another thing is that all the natives of Nanjing died in the Nanjing Massacre, and now the people of Nanjing are migrated from the surrounding countryside, so the food is not so sophisticated.
