Thank you very much for the great information. I would love to have the wok ring that you show in the video if you don't mind sharing. I can only find simple rings that have small openings. Keep up the videos!

Michael, That particular wok ring came with my dynasty range that has a special wok burner. There are some others on AMAZON that I've seen that are made of cast iron and allow air to circulate. Hope this helps.

Love this series! But can I ask where to get that flat bottom carbon steel wok for use on an electric stove. I can only find 12", but only having 7" flat bottom touching burner. Thank you

The 12" would be referring to the outer circumference of the wok, while the flat bottom will be more in line with an electrical burner. You may want to try a restaurant supply store and if you actually have an Asian restaurant equipment store, you may find it there. However, most Asian restaurants would use a gas burner for their woks. Amazon may also be a good option if you're in the USA.
