I love my Staub Dutch oven. It’s been around as long as Le Creuset, but occasionally Staub will put their 5 qt regularly priced at $350 on sale for $99. That’s when it’s worth it to buy. Great for soups, sautéing, making Carmel’s and stews etc. Gonna look for those enamel sauté pans though. I have the ones from Costco and they’re actually surprisingly very good.

Do you use the ENTIRE set or only certain pieces. I know with my set of cookware, I don't use every piece which is a bit of a waste of space which I need. So I like the idea of buying certain pans to use ALL the time.

@@barbarastotler900 The only piece I don't use quite as often is the small sauce pan. But I'm a mom of two under five so homemade sauce is just not a frequent for us right now 😂 Otherwise, yes I use all the pieces in my set all the time!!!

I started Thrive Market shopping and have found that I don’t make so many mistakes by reading the ingredients before I buy because I have multiple food sensitivities and also the price is RIGHT! I love Thrive. Recommending you and Thrive to all of my friends. I am going to also get your Cookbook. Thanks for all of your excellent knowledge ... this saves me so much time researching and understanding why things “don’t agree with me”. Geyy Bobby, great video really helps minimize the necessities in the kitchen. On the topic of not buy what you dont need, should I buy my meal ingredients daily or weekly? What is the best way to have a fully stocked kitchen without having to buy a weeks worth of groceries at one time so as to minimize spending as well? Hope you get back to me and again thanks for the awesome videos I love your passion for food and it is inspiring!

Casaware makes the *BEST* non-toxic granite bakeware that is non-stick. I have four of their jelly roll pans, which are basically cookie sheets, and their muffin pans, along with their little decorative pans that I make grass-fed gelatin gummies in. All of it holds up well and makes baking fun again. I feel that this brand performance better than stainless steel, as I don't feel comfortable using aluminum.

Thank you so much for the info! According to Google, The Culinary Kitchen's color of 2020 is a Naval blue. Here is the exact info I received: We're cooking up a fresh take on kitchen cabinet color thanks to the Sherwin-Williams 2020 Color of the Year, Naval SW 6244. When using this hue in open floor plans, let the deep, dark color help ground the space and create depth.

Shop yard sales, thrift stores, or flea markets to find old cast iron. Griswold and Wagner might be a bit pricey if the seller knows that there are collectors out there. I have a Wagner and a Burlington Stove skillet that are around 75 years old or more. Lodge is good if you want new cast iron and don't want to expose yourself too much shopping around during a pandemic. Also, if you are willing to spend on Le Creuset you can find cast iron from Stargazer, Field, and Butter Pat.

Hi Kido. This old woman has a hint for Cast Iron. Instead of cleaning with a metal scrater, I put some water in the pan, bring it up to boil, turn off the heat, take a wooden spatula and scrape the left over food out. Dump in sink, wipe pan out add a drop or 2 of grape seed oil and wipe pan with a lint free cloth. Pan is ready to give it next time. I really enjoy watching your show, it makes more sense that the 70's and 80's crazy diet fads. You have taught this old dog a few tricks.
