The first customer was so fun to watch throughout the video. She is full of life! Very pretty. She has absolutely no reason to be insecure about her looks. Everyone was so friendly. Love their culture of respect. Almost all of them about had a heart attack when you paid for their order. Good video man!

@@chicheng1941 because they feel they may be losing out on their best opportunity to profit from the interaction, due to thinking that they are not artificially covering up their true status. By making an effort, they hope to secure a higher status male, than they could, if they don’t make an effort. It is basic evolutionary psychology. Fame=survival advantage🙄🤣🤦♀️♥️♥️♥️🤣🤣🤣

In Chinese culture often there is a back and forth "fighting" taking the gift, you have to stick the cash in the other person pocket by force. It's a culture of giving but taking should not be accepted easily.

@@LaomaChris When I lived in China (between 2004 until 2009) I found I had to be sneaky if I wanted to pay for a meal for a group. I used to combine a toilet trip with paying the bill.

You've got so many avid followers in the community there , and the interaction between you and some of them in this video were fantastic. Your English instruction is paying off for many of your subscribers as I've noticed a few of them seemed to speak with a really good American accent.

What is a really good American accent. I hear so many different ones. I prefer the Boston accent to the Texas one for instance. When I lived in China my girlfriend had a slight American accent but she spoke perfect Australian!

@@baird55aus You make a good point. I could have been more specific. I just saw 2 or 3 folks in the video that spoke with what sounded like a neutral sounding American English such as what you hear out west California, Arizona, Nevada...that type of thing. It didn't sound British ,Aussie, or Kiwi. A Boston accent and New England are really unique accents. I agree. Sometimes a pretty nice southern drawl that you hear in Georgia is nice too. The twangs in Oklahoma and Texas, my part of the country, are so so I think. But that's just my opinion.

Wait a second, the event at the club that the dancers talked about, I literally went to that event it was so much fun! (They actually said K-Pop, not Hip-Hop, but tbh its close enough since most kpop choreo is hip hop) The video was a lot of fun as usual, the first girl's reaction was amazing XD

This guy’s tones/accent are LEGIT!! 👍👏👏👏 So nice to listen to! My parents grew up in Taiwan but I lived overseas in Beijing for 11 years as an adult, and I think the Beijing accent is still the nicest sounding Mandarin!! ❤️ Taiwanese Mandarin sounds “lazy” in comparison. 😂

@@JourneyDestination haha, i feel like taiwanese mandarin sounds lazy cause everything sounds so flat, like your tongue does not move much when speaking it. But while Beijing mandarin can sound garbled to the untrained ear 😂, it requires a whole workout of the entire tongue, front and back, while speaking it! Try it, and you will see what I mean! Taiwanese is like chilling on the couch while Beijing is doing crossfit! 🤣

You should try just throwing a sentence in if they happen to be struggling. That's usually a good opening to try chatting with them. 加油！

That was epic, the girl in the rust dress that said oh I need to calm down, and chose English instead! I couldn't stop laughing!!! This is why I choose to watch others irl rather than so much acting. Also as a chef I love Asian culture, really makes me want to learn and go myself.

When women are young and don't need makeup, they wear makeup. When they're old, and makeup's ruined their skin, they don't wear makeup. I'm a big fan of natural beauty over makeup. A down-to-earth woman who's self-confident but not flaunting or arrogant is a huge plus in my book, so the makeup thing partially follows in my mind.

This is just ONE of the reasons why Chinese people are so smart! It's a difficult language to learn but when taught and learned at a young age, it "wires" the brain to want to learn more and excel at everything, from math to science and beyond.

Not a subscriber as I don't speak any dialectal Chinese - but I do speak fluent German (and competent at other languages), so I can understand the fun element of your presentations. Many a time have I surprised the unsuspecting tourist after half an hours' 'ignorance'. The best thing is the reactions are pretty much all the same as this. Although I am not a boomer. Am a bit more senior than that. This was fun. Makes me wanna start to learn Mandarin or Cantonese. Don't try to learn Finnish though. Very difficult. 😂

The first lady was worried about not having put on makeup? She doesn't need it. She's beautiful as is. Makeup wouldn't make her look better, it could only enhance what natural beauty she already has. Besides, in my opinion, and yes it may be only my opinion, the natural look is HOT!
