Peppered Steak
Pepper steak is a stir-fried Chinese dish consisting of sliced beef steak cooked with sliced bell peppers, onions, carrots and other seasonings such as soy sauce and ginger, and is thickened with cornstarch. It is very quick and simple yet very healthy and delicious.
To season the Beef:
1 1/2 pounds of beef (cut in slices)
Blended green season (ginger, garlic, onion)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp All purpose seasoning
1 tsp Baking soda - to tenderize beef
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. Soy sauce
1 tbsp. Corn starch
To make the sauce:
2 tsp corn starch
5 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/2 bell peppers - variety of colors
1 carrot
1 small onion
Fresh ginger
Fresh garlic
Scotch bonnet pepper
To season the veggies:
All purpose seasoning
Jerk seasoning
black pepper
dried thyme
