Much to enjoy, but too long & too many ads. I'm surprised how few times Ive seen anyone agitate the material in the jar. Heat & agitation always speed up reactions. How about using FREE lens-focussed solar heat to warm the liquid through a metal plate it can sit on? Also if you insulate the glass container leaving only a level indicator strip as on a kettle you'll retain heat & make this process more efficient.

Question for you: Why didn't you use a melting process to clean the gold? Since plastics will burn first, then Lead will melt and Gold you'll need lots of heat to melt it at the end! That way you are not risking yourself with dangerous chemicals. Don't throw away the lead cause it's good to make fishing accessories!

When you dissolve the Copper is there no way you can potentially rescue that as well rather waste natural resources. I have seen people stick a S/S Knife in the mix when it is dissolving and it cements on to it.
