and to think this is where it all began. Su was 13 and Yui and Moa were 11 years old at this time. the clothes were borrowed from friends and others. this was the beginning of the experiment. this song is still a big hit live. this song is all about a girl getting ready for school in the morning. typical cute female song being metal. lol. and i just realized this is not the original video but just the girls. never seen this version before. the official video of this song is different in the opening and it adds other stuff like the baby bones but this is cool too.

I saw them a month ago- They didn't slow down a bit from beginning to end, and never looked fatigued. Every bit as amazing as I expected it to be. Yui and Moa are easy to tell apart when they smile- Moa has the dimples.

As usual, you make very good points about how really good the choreography of Mizuno Mikiko is. A lot of people will look at this as them jumping around, but as you point out, it's a LOT more complex than it seems, and this is at the very beginning of their BM journey. They are also benefitting from their participation in the idol groups, which puts them a bit ahead of the curve. Their coordination is almost almost perfect, especially towards the end when they are in line ahead with Su up front. And I think that Yui's and Moa's stature helps them in that coordination, with their shorter legs making quick movements a bit easier than Su, whose legs are considerably longer. They also have to make more moves per performance in comparison to Su. When they are ducking out from right and left and then effortlessly and seamlessly move into line abreast with no real loss of cohesion is a testament to both Mikiko's choreography and the girls attention to detail and training. I learned to dance fairly young, mostly at family gatherings, weddings and the like. My aunts taught me the Cha-Cha, Peabody, Foxtrot, Meringue, Waltz and most of the traditional ballroom dance styles. As I got older I became more proficient and as dance styles changed I learned more and more. The Hustle of the disco era was a lot of fun and brought a bit of the classic partner dance styles back. But it was when I met my wife it all changed. We met at a dance studio social when someone suggested I pair with her in a Meringue contest. We ended up winning, but it was all my wife making me look good. She was a superb dancer and could have been a professional like you see on Dancing With the Stars. She was of Latin descent so the Latin styles were big for her. We went for lessons and I became pretty proficient in Mambo, Pasa Doble, Rumba, Samba, Pachanga and the Argentine Tango. But it was always my wife who was the real star and carried me. So I can see and recognize some of the movements that BM uses in how they relate to dancing in a general sense. I would say most of their fans don't really see how good they really are in their dance routines and when you break things down to the basics its rather easy to pick up the nuances. What they accomplished at the early ages from 10 to 15 is really mind-boggling and they just became more polished as time went on. Really an outstanding job by both Mikiko and the girls.

Few fan facts: - First time they performed this song live, Moa started the choreo too early, and had to go back on it. There is a video on YT of it! - Same first time the song was performed live, it was a Sakura Gakuin show, with all the parents there, and when they saw the girls drop on the ground, they got scared and thought the girls had just slipped and fell down! xD

I have listened to this song so many times, how have i never seen this version!? Obviously it was chopped up and used to make the Music video. I would say this is the closest thing BabyMetal has ever done to a dance video version of their songs like K/J-Pop artist do.
