Early season around the timing of the cup I’ve had very good luck on rocks cause they hold heat. I never fish weeds on lake of the woods. Rock humps/reefs, small rock island structures, sandy saddles. Usually throwing smaller baits then too. Swimmin dawgs work wonders can fish em fast and is subtle yet aggressive, it’s also a bait that not many throw. That lake gets pounded with bull dawgs, blades, and crank baits. Chris likes big shoreline wayyy too much. It’s good to thoroughly fish spots but he over fishes them. Hit the very good looking and producing spots but not ones that’ll take all day on low, there’s thousands of em fish em good but fish em fast to cover as much ground as possible

Was just in Wisconsin for work for 5 weeks. And my buddy and I would go fishing almost everyday. I would be throwing a jerk bait for walleye and he was using the same jerkbait and was non stop catching Muskie from the shore. It was insane one day he caught 3 with an two hours!
