To answer the Chris Rock question ...very simple generate box office receipts and you get "paid" and possibly nominated for an award ...Why don't the women who play in the WNBA make as much as the men who play in the NBA? Why don't they get movie deals? or huge multi-million dollar advertising contracts?

They can have a vision for 10 years and as long as 1 year is inclusive ti not seem racist, in a racial typecast, they're not seen ads racist. Not one Trump joke ...I miss those days ...don't watch Oscars or any other award shows or any late night shows anymore (same lame jokes over and over again)... To answer the Chris Rock question ...very simple generate box office receipts and you get "paid" and possibly nominated for an award ...Why don't the women who play in the WNBA make as much as the men who play in the NBA? Why don't they get movie deals? or huge multi-million dollar advertising contracts?
@jp38134 жыл бұрын
@@mrit4099 This was before the elections, and the Oscars controversy provided enough material for this monologue. As for your answer, the Oscars have never been dependent on box office results. It's very well-known that flops are often nominated over actual hits. Even so, it ain't that simple to generate box office receipts when you're not given the opportunity to begin with. Take the most dominant genre in cinema today: superhero movies. It's not a level playing field when you're required to cast a white actor for iconic characters like Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Wolverine, etc... In terms of male leads alone; Blade, Hancock, & Black Panther are each a decade apart. Hell, Shang-Chi has yet to hit theaters.

@@thesimplegospel3529 I have a problem when you VIEL attacks as humor! Now that’s cowardice! This has become a battle for over six years! I am not a Jada fan by any means, however, I do applaud the fact that both she and Will boycotted the Oscars for a lack of diversity amongst MINORITIES! Of course they’ll hire court jesters, clowns and buffoons! But to hire blacks and any other minority to have a “seat at the table” relating to decision making, is huge and worthy of boycotting! When we forget the back story, especially a back story of substance, and just laugh it off, that’s failure. To make light of serious matters, very short sighted! To continue to get the same laughs for six year and to add to that laughter, you become a mocking mouse not a man! Whether Jada does or doesn’t have alopecia, to mock an individual’s illness, low, below the belt! After all is said and done I personally believe this was an ILLUMINATI RITUAL of Humiliation! Folks haven’t even connected the dots. Not only is Will in front of the camera, he has a MULTIMILLION DOLLAR PRODUCTION company making millions brokering deals with Sony and NETFLIX! The boycott was real! I dare say Michael Jackson …. He was right about SONY! Oh for the Khazarians to clip your wings to teach you a lesson! They think they are the only ones to make money!
