everyone talks about how he has brought back real country and all that. His music is beyond being classified as one specific genre. He is keeping real MUSIC alive. I never even thought of listening to country music in all my life, and im almost 40 years old. That is until I heard this man and Drake White and started digging into their music. i decided real quick just from Stapleton and White that i wasn't letting the fact that it is classified as COUNTRY music stop me from experiencing it. It's MUSIC... Real music. When it hits you in the soul the way this does, and you find yourself on a mission to try and hear everything they have done, who cares what genre it is. It's music. It's real. It's f****** awesome.
@johndavis22847 жыл бұрын
I agree. I feel compelled to mention though, I think most of Drake White's radio stuff isn't nearly as good as the versions I heard him sing in concert. Not sure if the record companies made him change it or if it was his choice or what. Chris Stapleton never disappoints, in my opinion.

Yes there is ...they are black ...which is where he gets his country soul style from but they don’t put out their music because of this hip hop shit and watered down r&b bullshit

THE SINGER that all others these days need to be compared too! I pretty much can feel every single note that this man sings. Does not matter if it is a song he wrote for himself to sing, sold a song to another artist to sing, or even a cover song. He owns them all once he sings it with his voice and his guitar. Kudos Chris! About time you are recognized for your contribution to music through your voice and song writing! **I do admit, I do have a male crush on Chris! That boy can sing and make you feel it like no one else can these days!!! Show less REPLY
