As the nameless protagonist he can be given any name you want but most people either go with his manga name Minato Arisato or his quote on quote canon anime name Makoto Yuki. While everyone else just calls him P3MC. With that here are my reasons why P3MC is Door Material.

Makoto starts out apathetic but becomes one of the most caring MC’s. I hope Atlus eventually does something with Elizabeth’s story of trying to save his soul.

When people say Elizabeth’s trying to save him they mean one of two things, she’s trying to free his soul so he can move onto the afterlife. Or that he’ll be resurrected since he has parallels with Jesus.

@@Joueur_3030 maybe and maybe not. You see, Jesus died physically but his soul still lingers so that he can save everyone from sin(I don't know alot of the details about it though, Maybe I'm wrong). After three days, he got resurrected. So door kun should be more Jesus, since he died physically and his soul has a task to protect humanity from death.

To be honest I always thought Makoto was the best protagonist because he had seemingly had the best character development. In the beginning he didn't really give a shit about anyone or anything but in the end took it upon himself to become the seal for humanity's sake. I also thought about how sweet his relationship with Elizabeth was because she abandoned her role as a velvet room attendant to find a way to free him and left to gather those who have the potential to save him.

I love Minato, Playing game with no spoiler the build up to his end was beautiful. I was state of shock in end credits. Persona 3 as a game may be weak to it later count aparts. But as story, it still me hands down best. I love how p3 character actual developed through story and did stuff on their own that had effect on the story. I hate say it when I love P5 and like p4. But both those team cast after their introduction dungeon this play fall the leader with protagonist. P5, those have best social link cast outside main team.

He's by far my most favorite protagonist in the series though I don't think we talk about his manga personality enough (Minato Arisato). The door had max charm there and was generally very likeable in comparison to Makoto Yuki in the movies (which I honestly kinda didn't like, but that's just my general preference when it comes to MCs). I would say that his Dancing in Moonlight personality is closest to Minato at least and it brings me joy that they went for that instead of a disinterested Makoto.
