Act now for nature → chrispackh.am/...
To save nature, we need more than warm words from politicians: we need strong laws. A growing campaign is demanding a new law to halt the decline of wildlife by 2030.
But can we win? Will the government listen? What will it mean for nature? And how can you get involved?
To find out, join Chris and Megan for this special campaign event in support of a State of Nature target. We know our wildlife is in trouble. We need your help to do something about it.

Returned to watch this again before setting off to work - promoting some of what we have left, and thus missing being able to join you at DEFRA London. Every sinew in me is utterly dismayed at the complete, wholesale ignorance of this amazing piece of data over the last 2+ years. Hoping the national response at DEFRA sites today stirs some clarity and continues to alert the inhabitants of our potentially beautiful island to the urgency and stark reality of today's situation and a horridly bereft future without immediate and comprehensive action. Best, Si.

just watched on bbc tv the walk that made me, a pure delight to the eyes ears mind and heart, despite the fact that i cried twice during this programme, i would love a series of this, chris on walks in nature, with a camera, his mind and his heart, without a camera crew, i have mental illnessess, physical conditions, neurological and developmental conditions including autism, i am in my forties and i only got diagnosed with autism about two years ago. when you live lone have no pertner and no children, it is traumatising when our 4 legged members of the family die, a cat that adopted me, lived with me for about 8 years, she passed about 4 years ago and im not over it yet, and its made many of my conditions worse.

While I fully encourage any positive actions in the call for conservation and the battle for climate change I really doubt any of it is enough. It is great that countries and governments are coming together to help fight the global issues we have pressurizing our environment at present but they continally ignore the elephant in the room. Their focus is always reducing carbon emissions, protecting natural resources and fighting deforestation etc but they never once touch on human populations and its ever increasing numbers. Without some how managing our numbers the need for constant space for housing, roads and materials to build and maintain them will forever be there and continue to rise and in turn place pressure on every other non-human species on this planet. It's not so much what we are doing but the growing numbers of people that are doing it.

Ironically late to the fold for this by filming HS2 work - tunnelling under a wood! ...and the adjoining Dallas Polo Club. An almost obscene example of there never being a case of 'can't'. Just a shame that preserving life didn't seemingly win out on it's own merits but moreso the folly of a very select and influential few. Heading off to share the link widely, great watch.

Maybe bird feeders or even tossing out birdseed. You just have to put the food out when and where the rats are not likely to congregate. I put food out during the early mornings and remove leftovers before dusk.

Love the new show. I just tweeted a pic of what I think is a kind of roach. My partner is a bit freaked out. I picked it up and let it go outside. Please could you take a peek for me. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Do crows prefer Haribo's? I was just eating some Haribo's in the park and crows kept surrounding me begging me for some food... but I was worried they might choke on Haribo's and its full of sugar.. so I ate them all and went back in the shop to buy some fruit & nut... threw them around but the crows weren't interested.

A Muntjac is an invasive species to Britain. Why does Chris promote these invasive animals that do harm to the British countryside. I love nature and watched Chris as I grew up on various shows. Knowing what I know now I tend to think the man has lost the plot and doesn’t really care for the British countryside. He should be a voice for our native species not invasive ones that damage it. Next he will be saying feed grey squirrels and how lovely signal crayfish are here. What a hypocritical wetty.

Springwatch. Get rid of Gillian Burke who just doesn’t cut it as a tv presenter and make Megan a regular instead. She’s a natural.
