Thank you. The 'piano guy' is Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. Igor composed this song about 26 yrs ago. Igor is a very famous Russian composer. He & Dimash have worked together on a number of fantastic songs and Igor has written songs specifically for Dimash's 6+ octave range. This is one of my favorites (although there are many) because of the beauty of that angel part towards the end. It is so incredibly beautiful. Russian composer Igor Krutoy wrote this song in 1994. And Dimash was born in 1994. This song was sung by many good singers. The song was popular in Russia. And, most importantly, Dimash included three inserts in the song: AVE MARIA, AVE AMOR and angelic vocals. Such inserts will not allow any other singer to make today. He has written a few songs now for Dimash’s range, this song though he wrote the year Dimash was born. Dimash’s version is very different to the original though. (Better, obviously!)

This is one of Dimash's better songs, I think, partly due to its great balance between the low range, the soft ultra-high portion, and then the powerful closing section. Glad to hear that Sinful Passion is coming up next. That one will blow you away as well. It includes low range vocal fry, mid-eastern yodel/trill, and a finale where he holds an entire phrase for a single breath 24 seconds long, all while singing complex runs.

The piano guy is Igor Krutoy (you’ll get to know him if you do more Dimash reactions.). This is one of my favourite songs by Dimash (truly anything he sings is my favourite, but this is definitely of the style I love.). I may suggest for future reactions turning on the subtitles (although I agree that you don’t need to understand to feel the music as emoted by Dimash). My own sense is to listen without lyrics first before turning on the subtitles and comparing my “impression” to the actual meaning. Strongly suggest Dimash’s Know Vocalise. No lyrics for most of it. Good reaction.
