Hello Dears of Dimash : ) I’ve no real strategy when it comes to selecting material to react to on KZfaq. Basically, generous people take the time to let me know of things that they have found special, and then, without any research and totally blind, I film myself watching it. This strategy means that I do not know what I am walking into, with respect to both the video, and the people who watch the video. Over the past two days, I have been overwhelmed by the number of people who have commented on this video. I wish I could get back to you individually but I’ve a job and a family that need my time but I have read every comment. Importantly, the tone of your messages has made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. It feels like kindness and support has been sent my direction from all over the world. My guess would be that Dimash attracts a certain type of fan, and my experience of you all makes me think that you are the sort of people who are needed in this world. Indeed, the last two days have given me more faith in humanity. I would further guess that the reason you are attracted to Dimash is because he also holds himself this way as a human being. The pianist here, Igor Krutoy wrote this song before Dimash was born. Igor is a Russian billionaire composer/music mogul. He wrote it for his wife. Igor came out of retirement in 2018 when he first heard Dimash sing. I believe Igor’s wife did die at an early age of cancer, but I think it was after he composed this song for her. Since 2018 Igor has gone on to write many masterpieces for Dimash. This performance was at The Kremlin on the occasion of the 70th birthday of the original singer of this song. The original is nothing like Dimash’s version but she did have a hit with it in the 90’s. Dimash is extremely famous all over the world but he won’t sign a contract with the west, because he wants to sing in all genres from Opera to Rock to Folk to Pop to Rap. He has recently been working on a project in LA with 16 times Grammy Award winner David Foster, but we don’t know what it is yet! Dimash is considered by the most famous vocal coaches to be THE greatest vocalist of ALL time with his 7.2 octave range. His parents are both famous singers in Kazakhstan (where Dimash was born and still lives), his Mother sings Opera and his Father Pop. Dimash sounds like both of them but better! His father is also a renowned music producer in Eurasia. Dimash has been at music school since the age of 5. He’s currently studying for his Phd in Musicology. He transforms/ immerses himself and becomes the “character” in every song. He feels and becomes the song, and not just the singer, but as if he is possessed- his soul leaves his body in a trans and replaced by the person who is the actual character the song is about. I never idolize anyone prior to him, but I listen to him almost every night since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and my spouse and daughter make fun of me. My 6 year old daughter also knows the lyrics to his songs and sings along with them. He is incredible and makes me tear up or hold my breath almost every time I hear him. I am a singer and I admire his musical talent and genius. He is unsurpassable and an incomparable once in a lifetime phenomenon. I can’t wait for him to have another concert in the US for my daughter and I to witness.

The name 'Dimash' was bestowed upon him by the Chinese, in an attempt by them to sum up what this young man truly is, unique would be the closest that I could come up with but the Chinese did far better than that. You will find many songs in many genres by Dimash on youtube and even full concerts such as his sold out concert in New York's Barclay centre in 2019, where Dimash's ability to turn out studio quality singing to a large audience was given a thorough work-out. He received is masters in composition in June of 2020, and is currently working on his doctorate in musicology. 45

This will always be one of my favorite Dimash performances. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva and modified it for Dimash to sing for this concert given in honor of Mrs. Pugacheva on April 8, 2019, in Moscow. As many already know, Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to compose masterpieces for Dimash after watching his performance of Sinful Passion in 2018. He is finally able to compose music without constraints placed on him by the vocal limitations of ordinary singers; high notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will be able to perform. Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections: In the first and longest, Dimash addresses the audience, describing his dream-like love. In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him. In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!

I really would like to hear your comments on Dimash’s recent masterpiece, a musical mini movie (I refuse to call it a music video) which he composed, sang, wrote the script of, and acted in. It’s called The Story of One Sky, and it’s his message to the world. He premiered it last September in Almaty, and received a medal from Pope Francis for it. Though he didn’t write the lyrics, he usually inputs and explains to the lyricist what he wants to say. Another Dimash composition and performance you would enjoy analyzing is El Amor en Ti, also premiered at the same concert.
