How do we know what Jesus said was preserved? Izaya book as example and how do we establish what izaya said? Izaya existed in 800bc and his earliest manuscript “Dead Sea Scrolls” was in 200ce, thats a 600 year gap, so how can you relay on a manuscript that 600 years after Izayas time and establish he said these things? There is nowhere to back it up. John the baptist book has the same problem you cannot trace his words from the book back to his era. The Christian scriptures come through who? they believe their scriptures but don’t know who wrote it as all the books was done way after the prophets of god were around so who were the authors of the books? how can you put your heaven and hell,(trust your life on a book that had no authors) salvation (believe in the books) in a statement they don’t even know who wrote it The Quran and the sunna of the prophet has been preserved and it can be proven but yet they say this book is from the devil. If you think the Quran is from the devil, so the devil can inspire and preserve a text better then god can? An christians arugment is that god does not preserve it through the manuscript. In the Book of chronicles bible, it said the word had been lost from the peoples mouths they don’t know where its gone, its been forgotten. they found one copy of it in chess (they don’t know where that one come from either and they recopied the whole book from it. (thats from the book of chronicles) its mentioned in Kings also. All top academics that are not muslim say you cannot trace Jesus words back to any holy christian books ( dale martin, bart ermine, barber alleged- all professors) E.G. - How does John 1.1 go back to Jesus? or any other verse? You Cannot. Most the Christian manuscripts books was written after Islam (around 20%) and this is a FACT even though Christianity came before islam, christian manuscripts came after 700ad where the Quran was done in 635ad and took around 25 years (angles spoke the Quran to the prophet). With the Quran we have a chain of transmission that go back to the time of the prophet. E.G - muslim chain of transmission, iman malik one of the scolers of Islam, he was a student of a man called Narfeie and Narfeie was a student of Ebin Omer and Ebin Omer was a student of the messenger of Allah prophet mohemeed pbuh- thats a chain of transmission where we know each person in the chain, we know there biography and know how precise they were and other religion don’t have that. From the christian historians you cannot establish it. From the Islam historians and from people that are involved in the criticism of men over the(who rote what) narrations, they have given us there work and allowed us to cross-reference there work and from these we can confidently show, say what Malik said in his book that goes back to Narfeien goes back to Omer, all the way back to the prophet. All the christian books have no authors, so they trust or believe in the church fathers.
