Thank you, Natalie, for getting me off my butt and my house looking better than it has all year. I'm 55 years old, so you'd think I'd be a pro at this whole housekeeping thing, but this pandemic has knocked me for a loop. My kids are back home and working from home. The youngest left college abruptly in March, so all of his many possessions were just dropped in the living room. The dining room became the storage area for large quantities of staples from the grocery store, so our trips would be reduced to 2 times a month. The garage was a mess. All those messes are now clean and tidy, Christmas decorations are up and bringing so much joy! I am a subscriber from your other channel and I can't thank you enough for inspiring me to get in the spirit of keeping my house clean and tidy again!

Natalie, this has been an extremely difficult year with dealing with this pandemic. My heart is thankful and grateful for all the blessings that God has given me. On the other hand, my heart is heavy for all the loss our country has experienced this past year. I keep my spirits up by decorating for Christmas. I just ordered a 4.5 ft tree fro my bedroom from Lowe’s with multi-colored lights. I am going to decorate it with over 50 cat ornaments that I have collected over the years.. I have to say decorating isn’t as happy an experience as it usually is, but when all said and done I am glad I did it. My most dreaded chore which I put off is vacuuming. Speaking of vacuuming, the best vacuum on the market is the Dyson. My old Dyson died and I had to get a Bissell and it’s not nearly as good as Dyson. I fold laundry right from the dryer that way it is less wrinkles. Your home looks beautiful for the holiday. I went through all my Christmas stuff and decluttering a lot to the tune of two empty storage units. It was a good feeling.

Love your decorations! Those paintings are amazing and what a memory to treasure. I, also, haven’t gotten use to the end of daylight savings. I miss the sunlight! Definitely a throw all my clean laundry on the couch and fold it type of girl. And the bathroom is my least favorite chore too (along with the daily cleaning of the cat liter 😣)

I hate folding laundry also. To take away the boredom I try to guess how many items are in the load. I’m only correct about once every 2-3 months.

Funny thing is that I get motion sickness (and motion sickness is a migraine trigger) when I put the artificial tree up, putting lights on, and the garland, so that’s my husband’s job
