I love open shelving but it's so tedious to keep it neat and aesthetic when you have a lot of open space

I generally keep my spices organize by type of cuisine. Indian spices together, Mexican spices together, Italian spices together, etc. That makes it easy when am cooking a certain type of dish, all the spices I need are together.

There's so much vertical space you could use on that corner shelf with the plates. Maybe get some variera risers from Ikea. I think that's what they're called. Also it would be cute to add like some cacti plants or fake but real looking plant above the sink on that ledge. I know your pressed on space but decor could be nice

We're pretty minimal on decor, but just wait until Halloween and Christmas. That shelf will be filled!

They also make racks where you can put dishes on them and store more under. Then you will have more space

Our spice organization: whatever it came in from the store, on a tray (used for a game at my wedding shower 14 years ago) so we can take the whole thing out of the cupboard if needed, with all the tiny short spice bottles lined up on the side. The ones we use most end up in the front, but it's easy enough to find what we need when we need it. (Larger spice bottles are on a lazy susan on a higher shelf.) I might use the 3m hook idea for our oven mitts and things. Free up an entire drawer!

I used peel and stick tile to line under our sinks and under the cabinets and drawers but I put non stick liner in the drawers as well to keep thing's from sliding. You did a great job with the space you had to work with 😊❤

Do those shelf liners stay in place and keep things from sliding? We have the crappy sticky mesh ones that always start off good but end up in a crumpled heap in the back of the drawer :/

I thought this was an organizing video? Did not need to see you clean and talk so much about sticky notes. We all use them. I wish you would have not talked so much and just got into the organization. Is the drawer liner sponsored bc you gave so much useless information about them.
