I was looking for this comment because I thought the same thing!!! I actually have a fireplace insert that they sell on Amazon that looks like real fire and makes the same sound and that's what I thought she had in there!!!

So, while Rebecca was talking about how she decorated the floor of the fireplace with the candles, I could hear crackling in the background and thought, "How nice! They put the crackling sound of a fireplace in the background of the video to enhance the effects." Next scene, she's near the Christmas tree and begins to explain what the sound we've been hearing along was, not the crackling of wood burning in a fireplace............. her earrings. lol rotf. Love it! Love her personality!

I looooovvvve this. My mother was a stickler for empty places. While I would decorate my tree, she would sit and tell me where the holes were. I miss her to this day. I now sit and look for holes. Ha

Everyone should have their tree in the bedroom! Trust me. I do live in a studio with my partner. But falling asleep every night with the sparkling tree in front of the bed is just magic. At first he was laughing at me. Now he knows better and loves it too.

Love it. It's just perfection. And what a touching story. Thank you for sharing. My mother came of from Stockholm, Sweden to spend my last trimester and the birth to my first baby ; still me little Angel Princess. Sharing your daughter's first pregnancy and spending the Christmas holidays with her. I have such fond memories of my Mother spending that time with me. Such a special time and having her last month or is right before Christmas. You're a designer after my own heart. You are all about symmetry and the colors you use are exactly what I would have chosen. I'm so happy for you ladies. What a gorgeous as elegantly festive environment you're created to make extraordinarily beautiful Christmas and special bonding memories in. I'm so that you'll both look upon this special time with fondness and great joy. What a thoughtful and loving mother you are . I'm sure that your daughter will make the best mother. Aesthetics and and environment are so important, at least they are to me. You're definitely my favorite design channel . Honestly, I didn't think that I'd be motivated this Christmas. A long long time ago you were doing a giveaway with furniture land south. I was one of the dream bed winners. I never got to thank you for that. I just wanted to say thank you so so much. My husband and I were newlyweds at the time and all we had was my small full size bed. I honestly couldn’t believe I had won the bed. Best wishes!

This was the best surprise! A Christmas video to watch after dinner. It was sweet to hear Rebecca tell the story of being pregnant and "directing" her mother in how to decorate the tree. And how Sharrah and Rebecca have now done the same thing. Also that both Rebecca and Sharrah were pregnant around the same time 30 years apart. What a sweet story. The sad part is that Sharrah's twin didn't make it. I'm sure that was painful. Sharrah was a miracle baby.

My daughter was also born December 17 but 1980.She was due Jan. 1. She came 2 weeks early but weighed 11 pounds. We came home from the hospital Christmas Eve and my husband went and bought a real tree and he and my 3 year old decorated while the 18 month old slept. Crazy fun with 3 little kids so close in age. It was hard but I miss those days but now have 7 wonderful grandkids.

In the early 70's we lived in Virginia during my husband's Army service. While there I was very taken with their colonial Christmas styling, among which were clear-bulb electric candles in every window. Having lived my whole life in Oregon, I'd never seen that done. Most homes had the candles; it was charming.

Hi Hon. Thats a great question and one worth explaining. I tucked the cord under the tree skirt and back behind the tree out of view from the front. Theres only about 3 feet that actually shows before it runs behind the mirror on the right. I chose an extension cord as close the the color of the wood floors as I could find and it pretty much fades into the floor. Glad it worked :-) RR

My gosh that fireplace and mantle are GORGEOUS! What a beautiful bedroom! 😍 I was so excited to get spinners but, yeah, led lights on my fake tree. My solution was going to be to just buy a strand of non-led lights and put them on the tree. 🤷🏼‍♀️

During the whole video- “Wow they even put a crackling fireplace sound in the video. What a nice touch” .....”if you hear a little clickity clack- those are my earrings!” 😂😂😂 still sounds like a fireplace to me. I thought it really enhanced the video!

Ive been doing this color theme since 2015. I love it so much. But you have convinced me to switch from the green tree to flocked. I was so undecided. I searched pinterest for the look and i couldnt find it. I am so glad you did this guest room

I have been watching your KZfaq videos for at least 8 year and I have never listened the Sharrah being a tween story. Your room and the Christmas touches are so magical. Agreed about the boa detail for a bedroom Christmas decoration. I am looking forward for the hack for the spinners.
