I love her voice. I love her delivery. She was deliberate in her proclamations, and spoke with a sense of church in her voice. Nobody like her.

My favorite scene with Esther was when she went to bail Fred,Lamont and Rollo Lawson out of jail for making a porn movie. They were then free to go but she forced them to stay behind bars & listen to some scriptures before which she got into big time with Fred (when he was still behind bars). She swung her purse at him and her hat flew off. That scene just cracks me up every time.
