Away You Broken Heart - one of my personal favourites. I was living in Blackpool at the time, bought the album when it came out, ordered tickets to see Christy in Southport in September 1993, prepared for the coneert and it was a great show. The audience was incredibly quiet in a positive way - Christy kept on telling long stories about meeting John Reilly and at one point said "I don't know why I'm telling you all this. Thank you for the way you're listening. You're making it very easy for me." I recorded the show and keep going back and listen to it. He also did this song.

These Lochdown Sessions are wonderful. Just discovered them via Christy's email notification. Can someone tell me the how and the why Christy is using the Capo? Is he tuning down, and then Capoing up? If so, why, or for what benefit? Thanks

The good vibes that you sing out and your homely chat reminds me of the times I had as a youth hosteller. Many a time my closest friend, Nick Prendergast, and I would spend endless nights around an open wood burning fire and chew the cud, put the world to rights and joke and laugh. Please play "Changes" in tribute to Nick and to all of the kindhearted folks of my youth. Hugs.Francis

Beautiful! Thank you Christy. Can I make a request for Irish Ways and Irish Laws? I used to sit waiting in the Embankment and even the Concert Hall back in the day delighted when hearing you sing it. I’m from Ballymun originally but one of best gigs I’ve ever attended was in Goffs hearing everyone singe Curragh of Kildare. One moment I’ll keep with me. Thanks Joe.

Rodigan, Attenborough and Christy Moore, the only historians I get lost in the trusting that they share a life with others that they have and are still living as much as they are honest'd and unbiased. Inviting you to my present port of travel Bristol, you'd be in oar of the cut Christy. You bring melancholy and calm to my frustration and hope to my step ( normally late at nigh when I'm overly enthusiastic with a women who heard your before I killed romance with stories of why you will always be the seance in the darkness) Oh and by the way, i much prefer your rendition of 'Fairy tale in New York' love to chat with you about this, your amazing Sir and as blessed as you know. Would love to chat and maybe if your ok would love to capture some moments in time via un intrusive photography and also bore the sh!t outta ya with my stories of how I'd put the world to waking the f$%k up! Oh and thank you for you video's, totally on my top three go to's when I need perspective and grounding x

This is strange... "Away You Broken Heart", the music of that song make me think of the music of "Hattie Carroll" by Bob Dylan. I knew that Dylan "stole"or "borrow" from Irish music for some of his early songs ("With God On Our Side", "Don"t Think Twice")... well, I suppose that he did that too for "Hattie Carroll". Sad.

Brilliant here's one The ballad of Bruce Lee Braiden When Bruce Lee went to Gaza to teach the childer how to to noche also showed the Zionists why he's a the ginger Irish fox For in the midst of battle he had to do what right so he picked up halfer and hit a soldier in the kite now some might say it reckless other day he brave but Bruce knew the Arafat was cheering from his grave From poleglass to the market he fought beside LOAF to fight for ppl anywhere he doesn't need no oath Now the brave ppl of gazza tell the story to this day of how 1 ginger Belfast man kept the IDF at bay for for the red man in America a he's the man they should ellect for a statue in the gazza strip they sure will erect Now if u ever ask him in voice may go down low but then he'll rise it up again to praise the PLO
